bug with tabs
Hi! I have already in an other post mentioned IBasic. But if I use tabs in IBasic and the word which comes after it is a internal command, so that it will be colered, in wine-20050930 it looks like that on the right side: http://user.web-gear.com/theuserbl/newwine.png I think using spaces works still very well. Only tabs for it makes this problem. An other thing (I don't know if it is

3D part of the Godot engine
Hi! At http://www.godotengine.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1710&sid=f3de0009f9b706fa6e80d540afe6e544 are shown screenshots taken from Windows with the NVidia driver and from Linux with the Nouveau driver. I think to fix bugs in this case would be easier then let Unity- or Unreal-program run, because the Godot engine is OpenSource (MIT-license): https://github.com/okamstudio/godot So

Something like Mauve for Wine/ReactOS?
I have read just the comment from Mark Wielaard, the leader of GNU Classpath: http://gnu.wildebeest.org/diary/index.php?p=129 And after that I have a question, if somethinl like Mauve exists also for WINE/ReactOS? GNU Classpath is a OpenSource-Version of the Java Standard Edition Classes. And Mauve are testclasses, which test, that the OpenSource JVMs with GNU Classpath are still working

3D part of the Godot engine
I was also irked by these blanket statements, so I tested it myself. I reproduced the issue on Intel hardware (so it has nothing to do with nouveau!) and it was fixed by installing the s3tc library as Ilia suggested. So find out how you can install this library for your distribution. For Fedora the library can be found in the rpmfusion repo and is called libtxc_dxtn. Gerben On Mon, Mar 9, 2015

How to extract icons?
Hi! If I have a Windows-program, which comes with an installer and the program wants to create icons on the desktop, then Wine creates on the desktop a link to the installed program, extract an xpm icon from it and use it as icon for the desktop. But if I have a program with no installer and I want to bring it manually on the desktop (what I already have done), how can I extract the nice icon

3D part of the Godot engine
The forum requires login to post, so that won't happen, at least by me. It seems a little harsh to say that """ While I can't say this with any certainty, I'm almost willing to bet that the problem is with your drivers, given Nouveau's notorious OpenGL-related issues. I would suggest giving the proprietary Nvidia drivers a shot and see if that fixes it.

Winetricks and Multiple Wine Processes
Hello, I thought this would be a question someone asked before but my search returned no hits so... I have several Wine process, mainly because some software I use requires Win components or registry entries that screw up other applications. I run these apps alone in dedicated Wine processes. For example, I have the folllwing: .wine .wine-lotro .wine2 .wine3 Is there any way to tell winetricks

2 versions of wine in the same PC ?
hello, I found a bug in Wine 1.2 and reported it on bugzilla. This bug has a very simple workaround, but I would like to see if it is still present in Wine 1.3 beta. Is it possible to have 2 versions of Wine simultaneously installed on the same system, or will they disturb each other ? Of course wine uses a .wine directory, but is there a trick, such as using .wine1 and .wine2 ??

Problem with Java 6
I think with WINE 0.9.11 is still all ok. But since some releases there existing a additional problem, when running Java 6 for Windows on WINE. If you run a Swing program, then WINE makes the complete screen black and lets only the Swing window part visible. Thats a buh, which before not exists. And the old bug - which exists all the time - is, that if you move a Java 6 window, then the

CUnit
Hi! Which testing-framefork do WINE use? I have seen, that CUnit for example outputs the result in a nice html-format: http://cunit.sourceforge.net/ss_automated.html Looks similar to the output of GNU Classpath (which trys to rewrite Java): http://builder.classpath.org/japi/jdk15-generics.html But GNU Classpath uses JUnit. And WINE is written in C, so in this case CUnit would be better.

Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) connectors
Hi, I'm no phone guy but I've been having quite a bit of fun messing with Asterisk. I just unwrapped my new Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) which is the new 4 port FXS PCI card. It has 4 RJ45 connectors and I'd like to hookup 4 regular phones which are RJ11. If I crip RJ45 connectors to the phone cords do I simple use the center two pins (pins 4 and 5)? Thanks, Randy Smith Tiger

MDAC not installing
MDAC is proving to be a pain for me to install. I have so far had nothing but failure. Here is a breakdown of what I'm working from. I am using Ubuntu Linux (Hoary 5.04) and the 20050725 binary install from the instructions here: http://www.winehq.com/site/download-deb Wine installs fine and I can get some core software installed w/o a hitch. I am using the script from here to get IE6,
