crystal reports under wine
Has anyone had any success with Crystal Reports under Wine?
The problem I am currently having is with the print engine itself and is
probably nothing to do with printing;
Page fault on trying to access 0x00000000 in
CRPE32.DLL.Prompt3DViewAngle (which I presume is bought in by Crystal
from 3dgraphics)
The dll is either version 8.0.0.371 or 8.0.0.392

Crystal Report functions not working in Wine
Hi, I've installed a program made for windows that is developed by our
company. I installed the system on Ubuntu (Dapper Drake) using Wine.
All other functions work fine, but when I tried to view the reports
that were made by Crystal Reports the program displays the message
"Application-defined or object-defined error." Any advice on how to
get this work??? Thanks! Here is a copy

Versions of Asterisk 1.6
Hello,
I see that there's 1.6.0.x and 1.6.1.y versions of Asterisk.
Is there a clear table that describes the features and/or differences
between them?
Are both stable enough?
Is T.38 Fax supported on both? If yes, which spandsp is supported? I saw
on voip-info.org that version 6 is not supported, but this information
might be outdated.
Thanks.

Crystal Reports in ROR application
Hi,
I want to use Crystal Reports in my ROR application. The way I am
planning is to create an XML file and send the file as the input for the
Crystal Report application.
I believe there is no API in ROR to access the crystal reports. I am
using Crystal Reports 11.
I am planning to access the crystal report via command prompt from ruby
code.
Can anyone please help me how to achieve this???

alternative to Crystal Ball ?
Dear R users,
I am looking for R packages that would best approximate Oracle's
Crystall Ball [1]. For those not familiar:
"Crystal Ball software is a leading spreadsheet-based software suite
for predictive modeling, forecasting, Monte Carlo simulation and
optimization. [..] Crystal Ball is used by customers from a broad
range of industries, such as aerospace, financial services,

Crystal Reports
We need to generate the crystal reports dynamically from ROR
application. I believe we need to pass the xml to the crystal report
file.
Any one knows how to call the crystal report template file dynamically
from
rails application and pass the xml data to the crystal report.

Thank you.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/clk: fix crystal frequency retrieval on nv25
Signed-off-by: Viktor Novotn? <noviktor at seznam.cz>
---
Hi,
this fixes a regression I have seen since the kernel module rewrite in summer. After loading nouveau, screen would go
all black and monitor would show "Out of range". According to envytools' hwdocs/pstraps.txt nv25 should use both pstraps
bits(6 & 22) so I hope this fix is valid for all nv25 cards, not just

Clang project renamed
Hi everyone,
There are a number of issues with the current name of the Clang project:
* It is prone to incorrect type setting, typically as CLang, CLANG, or
most commonly c̦҉̫̘̺̹̖̗͒͆͋̈̃̇߯l߲҉̷̡̰̖͈̤̺͒҆̾̚͡͝a̺̹͍̔߭͠ͅn͋́͡g̱߫̉
* The C++ compiler ends in the string "g++", which causes problems for
compiler wrapper scripts
* The name has been used by a kickstarter project

is_stmt and column numbers
It appears to me that from this:
https://iis-git.ee.ethz.ch/H2020-Compiler/llvm/commit/1d68fc5021ca8c704e21f171d98bb18eb396a7fa
That LLVM basically emits DWARF expressions where is_stmt is true only
"once per line". Is that still true? Is there an option to emit more
than one per line?
Thanks all.

Combatting DDoS attack
Hi,
I''ve been working the past 8 hrs combatting DDoS attacks on websites and dedicated servers I host for clients.
They''re hitting one specific IP address, but coming from thousands of external IP addresses.
I use:
shorewall-4.0.10-3.noarch
How can I tackle this? I''ve blocked many subnets in the blacklist file but it''s made very little difference.

Multiple interfaces in a zone (not a standard case)
Hi,
This subject has been brought up in the forum, but it''s a bit different.
If I have a set of tun interfaces. I already defined tun+ as zone A, and I have excluded tun15 as zone B (a subset of zone A).
I need to add tun16 to zone B.
My config:
/etc/shorewall/interfaces:
A tun+ - routeback
B tun15
/etc/shorewall/
A ipv4
B:A ipv4

installation
hi all,
is there a cd-rom image with a full R pre-installation which I can give to my students so that if they want to run R on their computer, they will be able to run it from the cd-rom without having to install it on their computer. That way, they can have a 'protable' R package installation in their bags, and they can use it on any machine. Is this possible?

How do you make a formal "feature" request?
Who decides what features are in R and how they are implemented? If there is someone here who has that authority I have this request:
A report() function analogous to the plot() function that makes it easy to generate a report from a table of data. This should not be in some auxiliary package, but part of the core R just like plot(). As a long time SAS user I cannot believe R does not have this.
