Hi, I'm having an issue trying to make a Windows machine sambaserveroin a Samba domain. Samba is running with LDAP backend (OpenLDAP). When I try to join the domain, Windows says that the machine account does not exist. The machine account, however, is successfully created in the LDAP directory after the join fails. When I try to join again, Windows says that the account already exists.

Hi, I've been trying to get the logon script to with in XP. This same logon script works in Win98. I finally discovered that it will work if I change logon drive = to logon drive = z: Now I'm really confused. The Netlogon is path is /home/samba and shared as \\server\netlogon. Ok here is a real geek question, I building my own linux kernel for my asterisk system and came across the kernel setting for the timer frequency. I have one of 3 hardcode choices 100Hz, 250 Hz and 1000Hz. From what I understand the default Freq was changed from 100Hz in kernel 2.4 to 1000Hz (1KHz) in kernel 2.6. Timing is a BIG issue in asterisk with all the TDM and zap channel stuff.
