Does L(x:y:z) "Dial" option work on Asterisk version 1.4 ?
Hello there! I'm testing "Dial" call limit option on Asterisk version 1.4.26, but it's not working. The issued command is: "Dial(SIP/${EXTEN}|20|RtT|L(300000:60000:20000))". Am I missing something ? Does it only work with Asterisk version 1.6.X ? Thanks and best regards, -- __At.,

Multiple user registration ...
Hello there! We are planning to use Asterisk on our VoIP platform, and we are spending some brains on a way to provide the following facility: let some SIP user (extension) registrate with more than one client (ATA, SoftPhone, VoipCelular, etc) - what isn't a problem at all -, initiate calls from any of this devices that are registrated with the same user - no problems on tests too -,

Realtime with "rtcachefriends=no" problems...
Hello there! I was testing Asterisk for the last two weeks using the Realtime driver for MySQL, and leaving "rtcachefriends=yes" configured to enable MWI. Today I started making additional tests with "rtcachefriends=no" because we will probably need to use Asterisk without this cache. For some strange reason, calls stop to get routed between the SIP clients. I've

Call routing between two Asterisk boxes using SIP not working ...
Hello there! I need some help to configure two Asterix boxes to route calls using SIP. I followed the instructions present at this site: "http://astbook.asteriskdocs.org/en/2nd_Edition/asterisk-book-html-chunk/connecting_two_asterisk.html", but I couldn't get it working so far. The only difference, besides the names that I've used, is that I'm using realtime to retrieve

How to get "Call-ID" SIP header outside "chan_sip" scope ...
Hello there! I'm working on some modifications on Asterisk to adapt it to our needs considering some particular demandings of the infraestructure we want to provide. Two of these modifications are: 1- A proprietary configuration driver that will communicate with a server that will be the source of information for the entire infraestructure; and, 2- A call control application that will be

Logwatch for postfix
On CentOS5 with the latest updates applied, the logwatch filter for postfix returns way too many lines from the log. I get an "unmatched entries" message and all messages that have gone through the system is listed. Here is an example: 8F930A8092: to=<morten at foo.bar>, orig_to=<morten at localhost>, relay=local, delay=0.19, delays=0.06/0.01/0/0.12, dsn=2.0.0,

Adduser help
at http://wiki.openpbx.org/tiki-index.php?page=Easy+route+to+building+OpenPBX.org there is the following adduser command: adduser --no-create-home --ingroup openpbx --disabled-password --disabled-login openpbx This does NOT seem to be the right format for Centos. Cannot make Windows join Samba domain
Hi, I'm having an issue trying to make a Windows machine sambaserveroin a Samba domain. Samba is running with LDAP backend (OpenLDAP). When I try to join the domain, Windows says that the machine account does not exist. The machine account, however, is successfully created in the LDAP directory after the join fails. When I try to join again, Windows says that the account already exists.

TukeyHSD for multiple response
Dear all, I'm testing the effect of species and sex in my sample by using the principal component scores of a PCA analysis. I have 30 PCs and I tried to see if there is any significant difference from males to females, given that there is a significant effect of phylogeny (factor with several species). I didi it like this: Y<-PCA$pc.scores[,1:30] fit <- manova(Y ~ sp*sex)

Number -> Fraction
Hi everybody! I'm new to this list and also to the R program. I'd like to know if there is a function able to convert results into Fractional form like my scientific calculator have. For example: > 1/3 [1] 0.3333333 > function_that_return_a_fraction_from_numbers(0.3333333) [1] 1/3 Thanks Mauro -- Man, he is constantly growing and when he is bound by a set pattern of ideas

Login Script Doesn't
Hi, I've been trying to get the logon script to with in XP. This same logon script works in Win98. I finally discovered that it will work if I change logon drive = to logon drive = z: Now I'm really confused. The Netlogon is path is /home/samba and shared as \\server\netlogon. Z: is mapped as \\server\home\. This means the path to the logon script is Z:\samba\logon.bat Not

Linux Kernel Timer Frequency and Asterisk
Ok here is a real geek question, I building my own linux kernel for my asterisk system and came across the kernel setting for the timer frequency. I have one of 3 hardcode choices 100Hz, 250 Hz and 1000Hz. From what I understand the default Freq was changed from 100Hz in kernel 2.4 to 1000Hz (1KHz) in kernel 2.6. Timing is a BIG issue in asterisk with all the TDM and zap channel stuff.

Slightly OT: OpenPBX.org and Freeswitch
This is slightly OT in that it isn't specifically *-related, but I was wondering what the members of the * user community felt about these two subjects. I've been perusing the OpenPBX.org mail list and the current hot topic is the fact that their project has come to a grinding halt. They are concerned that they don't have enough people working on their project. They feel that * has

TukeyHSD for multiple response
Hi Sergio Doing those tests 30 times is going to give you a huge Type I error rate, even if there was a function that did that. There is a reason why TukeyHSD doesn't make it easy. In general, if there are useful comparisons among the species, you are better off setting up and testing contrasts than doing all-pairwise Tukey tests. Also, the PCA scores are ordered in terms of variance
