wine and ashlar's drawingboard
Hi all,
I am happily using wine (0.9.58) on Opensuse 10.2 to run a few MS
packages, including Ashlar's Drawingboard.
Recently I got a mini Asus eeePC (with Xandros derivative debian) on
which I also installed wine from the Debian Etch archive. The latest
version available was also 0.9.58. One program is running fine
(Quicken) on the eeePC, but Drawingboard throws up a "Panic: Internal

Norton Dayplan no longer working
I have recently moved from Ubuntu 10.04 to Mint 11 Katya and installed Wine 1.2.2 using software manager. I have the original dayplan.exe files and dll files from the Norton Desktop program that was designed to run without an installer from Win 3.1 .

[LLVMdev] Unexpected spilling of vector register during lane extraction on some x86_64 targets
Hello,
Depending on how I extract integer lanes from an x86_64 xmm register, the
backend may spill that register in order to load scalars. The effect was
observed on two targets: corei7-avx and btver1 (I haven't checked other
targets).
Here's a test case with spilling/no-spilling code put on conditional
compile:

#include <smmintrin.h>

how to set folder redirection on Windows 7 with a Samba PDC
Hi,
I have read that Windows 7 is using a new admx format and that it is not
compatible with the old-school poledit. If I would like to stick with a
Samba PDC, is there any elegant way to get Windows 7 client to obey the
folder redirection(and possibly other rules) set using poledit &
NTConfig.pol?
I have been searching the mailing list, but there doesn't seems to be much

Windows 7 problems
Hi,
I have upgraded to Samba 3.5.6 for Windows 7 Pro compatibility.
I am in a test phase to evaluate the behavior of Windows 7 in a Samba PDC
environment.
I have one Samba server as a PDC with tdbsam backend (no LDAP at all), and I
applied the reg and patch as described in the wiki.
I have a couple of questions related to Windows 7 :
- opening a domain session on the Win7 client takes a
