Misunderstood thing
Hello,
I'm novice on the SIP protocol also on Asterisk. Could someone explain
me why the Asterisk is using username and secret config on peer connection?
Does Asterisk can send call to peer without username and secret
configuration ?
Sincerely,
Tseveen.

[SOLVED]Re: TLS/SSL error loading cert file. </etc/asterisk/keys/asterisk.pem> [Almost SOLVED]
Hello,
After countless hours on, this I found the root cause of HTTPS settings on
Debian Buster.
All this came from ast_tls_cert script using 1024 bits-long keys where
Debian's defaut was to require at least 2048-long keys !
Simply passing -b 2048 to ast_tls_cert solved it.
1. May I suggest mentioning explicitly this possibility in wiki page [1] ?
2. What would you say of adding an extra

Asterisk + Openfire
I am trying to connect Asterisk and Openfire together, but it's not yet
working completely...
I don't know for sure if my manager.conf-file is set correctly. I use
this manager.conf file just to let Openfire talk to Asterisk...
[general]
displaysystemname = yes
enabled = yes
webenabled = yes (is this necessary for Openfire ???)
port = 5038
bindaddr = 0.0.0.0

"gui interfaces"
hello :-)
first i should say im a very happy user of your product and youre doing a
great job :)
just looked at your web page and saw a link which said "gui interfaces" ..
but since gui stands for graphical user interface .. the link actually says
'graphical user interface interfaces' .. shouldnt this be changed to "gui's"
or "graphical user interfaces"?

gui for R
Hi,
I met with many bugs when I used JGR and am looking for some other
GUI's for Mac. I found SciViews-R by googling but it is only for
windows to my best knowledge. Is there any other good gui like that,
usable for Mac?
Thanks,

possible regression in wine1.2-rc7 - GUI and VSTs
hello,
I have been using wine for quite a while, with many applications.
mostly though, i am using wine for VST support via wineASIO. For the most part,
this method works extremely well. many of the plugins i use work
pretty much flawlessly.
the only real exception is that occasionally the VST's GUI will cause
an xrun in jackd. this hardly ever matters, as most of the time i am
not using

Request for new Windoze GUI Widget
Folks:
I have found R's fewWindoze GUI Widgets (like winDialog,
choose.files,winMenuAdd etc.) to be quite useful in building simple but
functional interfaces (I hesitate to call them GUI's) for one-off
applications for non-R users. It's quite easy for me to write
statistical "solutions" in R, slap on a little GUI that allows users
access to the functionality, and then

asterisk-gui installation hangs
Hi,
I use asterisk branch 1.4 and gui 1.4 as well.
I have the following situation:
When I try to make gui configuration by
http://localhost:8088/asterisk/static/config/setup/install.html
I can see that application logs my user correctly but there is no
browser window shift to the next page. it stays at the logging one.
I get the following info in the console:

What does Asterisk need in the way of a GUI?
We are two programmers who are passionate for Asterisk and we will be
dedicating the next three months towards programming for Asterisk and
would like to get some input from everyone on what they feel Asterisk
is lacking or needs based on what is not currently a part of it or
available through third parties. Hopefully, by asking up front we
won't be wasting our time on something nobody wants
