It should be as simple as editing voicemail.conf :

ControlPlayback's options
Hi List,
Asterisk 's *ControlPlayback* will used for play any recorded file as an
audio player. Is it possible that we can use it for multiple forward and
rewind ?
ex:-
original: ControlPlayback(filename,skipms,ff,rew,stop,pause)
expected
ControlPlayback(filename,skip1,skip2,skip3,forward1,rewind1,forward2,rewind2,forward3,rewind3,stop,pause)

events..
Hello
I've been very interested in vorbis for some time now... I was just
pondering if there would be any interest in a sort of a event thing.. Call
'em what ever you like (event,keyframe,index,...)
Like if I have a whole cd in one ogg file, there could be a keyframe or an
'event' between tracks, so that I could fastforward or rewind to that
keyframe directly (index search on

Icecast2 and TiVo
Hey guys,
As some of you may or may not know, TiVo recently came out with an optional
software package for their Series2 TiVo units. They call it "Home Media
Option" and, among other things, it lets you play mp3s on your TiVo.
So, some clever folks figure out that if you fed your TiVo and m3u playlist
that pointed to an Internet stream, it would play that stream for you. Very

Verifone-Asterisk-AGI
Wrong list. asterisk-dev is for changing the C source code of Asterisk.
That's part of why you didn't get a response yesterday.

AGI and AMI in PHP -- What's current?
I'm writing some code that needs to access AMI in PHP. (I'll probably be
doing AGI later as well.)
I'm looking at phpagi (2.20), but it hasn't been updated since 2010 and
appears to be a bit behind current Asterisk -- No event handler for event
'fullybooted'.
What PHP framework/library are you using -- and why?

Sipura SPA-1001 and Tivo Series 1
Hi everyone, I just got a Sipura SPA-1001 and have connected my Tivo Series
1 (yes its old). When I do a test call with Tivo, the call always fails (it
seems to dial the number but never connects). I can pick up the phone line
and hear the Tivo "talking". I've tried looking around for anything special
I need to do but its still not working. I can connect a phone to the

Any api (agi/ari/ami) equivalent of "core show calls"?
Just run ‘core show calls’ as a command from the AMI, and parse the results. I don’t think there is an equivalent pure AMI command.

TiVO Desktop Support?
I'd REALLY like to go back to using Linux, but have gotten rather
attached to being able to pull programs off my TiVO and play them back
using TiVO Desktop. Looking through the list I see where this question
has been asked a couple of times before, but no indication of an
answer.
SO - does anyone know how to setup Wine to run TiVO Desktop?
Thanks in advance!

Any api (agi/ari/ami) equivalent of "core show calls"?
Thank you... but "just update the database" - hmm, what database?
Did you mean ARI? I still can't find the command! The asterisk wiki is
somewhat, um... spread around!

partial installation
I just tried to install TIVO Desktop. The process got part way through, then hanged. How do I go about un-installing it -- there is no "uninstall Tivo Desktop" selection in the Wine menu.

In this particular case, burn-in will most certainly occur. TiVo is connected
to televisions, and big screen TVs are very susceptible to burn in because of

Tunneling lock/hangs/unidirectional
I've setup a lab to test the new tunneling options in the latest

unidirectional.

OT- GPL, Linux, TiVo
Tivo *has* released their changes to the Linux PPC kernel, as they are
required to do by the GPL because they *have* distributed those
changes... in every. single. machine.
http://www.tivo.com/linux/linux.asp
They have not released the source to their own application that runs on
Linux, nor are they required to.

unexpected behavior from gzfile and unz
I get unexpected behavior from "readLines()" and
"scan()" depending on how the file is opened with
"gzfile" or "unz". More specifically:
> file <- gzfile("file.gz")

[1] "a\tb\tc"
> readLines(file,1)
[1] "a\tb\tc"

It seems that the stream is rewound between calls to
readLines.

Only one app keeps me on Windows - Can WINE free me?
Currently, there is only one application that is keeping me on
Windows, and that is the TivoDesktop software that lets me DL episodes
from my Tivo, and in conjunction with the DirectDump tool, allows me
to convert those Tivo files to standard MPEG-2 files for editing.
Does anyone have experience running TivoDesktop under any version of
Wine under any distribution? I'm rather distro agnostic

Any api (agi/ari/ami) equivalent of "core show calls"?
Way back in the mists of time, I built my asterisk installation with SNMP support.
It's a bit tedious to get the sub-agent for snmpd set up but once you have it you can poll the OID for the asterisk sub-agent and it will tell you how many calls are up at that
moment in time.
That said, I actually prefer ARA/ARI to flat file configuration of endpoints and dialplans. Changes are more or less

Strange startup messages
After I recently installed 4.8-stable and configured it as my
gateway, I started getting messages like the following during
startup. This fills dmesg completely, so I can't go back and
view the startup messages for diagnostic purposes. I haven't
found any references to this in archive and google searches,
and I don't know what's causing it. Has this happened to anyone
else,
