Howto change CDR record on calling channel from called thread?
I'm tearing (what's left of) my hair out on this one :-( <shortform> How can I set the CDR(userfield) in the calling thread from the dialplan (actually a macro called from a feature) in the called thread? <long version> I use mixmonitor to record calls driven by entries in the asterisk database for selected phones. As part of this dialplan, I set the CDR(userfield) to the

recording calls
I am trying to record calls on demand both inbound and outbound calls. I can record outbound calls just fine but not inbound calls or calls from an internally between extensions. I am using the latest asterisk 1.8.x certified version. On an outbound call I see: == Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5 -- Called SIP/ BVTrunk /7190000000 -- SIP/BVTrunk-00000163 is making progress passing it to

Set CDR userfield in a realtime dialplan
Hello, I'm using Asterisk with Realtime extensions and ODBC CDR. And I'm have some trouble with the CDR userfield that is not changed when using the SET command in the realtime dialplan. In my dialplan (extensions.conf, the file) I'm setting the userfield like this : exten => s,n,Set(CDR(userfield)="X") Later, my dialplan switches to the realtime part and this is an

Problem with CDR userfield not being set
I'm trying to use the MySQL CDR records. According to dialplan show, the line in the dialplan is: 11. Set(CDR(userfield)=${billing_code}) [pbx_ael] It looks like the value is being set when I watch the console during the call: -- Executing [s at restphone_event_loop:11] Set("SIP/icall-0075a2e0", "CDR(userfield)=boatmenu") in new stack But the record that's

Precomputing the remaining floating point operations.
I see there are still some floating point operations left in the codec init(ialization) code. Changing that code to fixed point is not only difficult (due to the trigonometric functions etc) but may also degrade the precision. Here is an idea whereby we can easily precompute (record) all those values on a powerful processor and then use (replay) them on an embedded processor / DSP. The only

userfield not logged to CDR
Hi, I'm logging cdr via odbc to mysql. It seems that there is an intermittent problem where the CDR(userfield) isn't written to the database. The rows all seem to be there, but that specific field is missing. The same dialplan. Nothings changed. Probably 1 in 10 is missing the userfield. Any ideas how I can debug this? Many thanks Dan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

CDR userfield not written into DB
Hi everybody, i've been googling for quite some time now but can't find an answer to my problem... I'm using Asterisk 1.2.12.1 with mysql as the cdr backend. In the dialplan i've written exten => 1234,n,Set(CDR(userfield)=blah) exten => 1234,n,Answer() exten => 1234,n,Queue(.....) exten => 1234,n,Hangup() When I'm doing a call I can see that the statement is

Setting `userfield` from within a callfile
Our current Asterisk 1.6.2.9 setup includes a CGI auto-dial application (written by someone else before me) which sets up calls by creating files of the general form Channel: SIP/$INSIDE_NUMBER Context: $CONTEXT Extension: $OUTSIDE_NUMBER Priority: 1 CallerId: $INSIDE_NUMBER in /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/ . It works very well. However, it would be nice to be able to attach an additional

CDR issue - Problem logging CDR(userfield) in Master.csv
Dear all, I am having an issue with CDR logging. What I want to do is log jitter variable from RTPAUDIOQOS module into Master.csv at the end of each call. I am using asterisk version 1.4.26. For CDR purposes, I am using cdr_custom, and the content of my cdr_custom.conf is the following: [mappings] Master.csv =>

1.4.?? or ZapTel 1.4.X DIGITAL Calls are Broken
Don't you just hate it when something was working and when you come to use it in anger it's broken :-( Something in the, fairly, recent series of Asterisk updates has broken DIGITAL call passthrough. I've an ISDN PBX behind my Asterisk Box (PRI ISDN comes into port 1 of a Digium Wildcard and the PBX it connected to port 2 via an ISDN crossover cable). This PBX used to be able to

Recording the conversation with MixMonitor() ends when the call is transfered
Hello. I notice that when a call that is recorded with MixMonitor is transfered to another co-worker, the recording ends. exten => 409,n,Macro(SDstartrecording,external,${DID}) the incoming call then goes to a queue... cdr_mysql does not write to mysql db
Hi, I configured cdr_mysql (addons 1.0.9) to write the cdr records to the mysql db. The problem is that no records are written to the db. Why? I can import the csv-file to the db. so i assume the db is setup correct. Is there any chance to get debug from cdr_mysql to find his problem? This is my cdr_mysql.conf file: [global] hostname=localhost dbname=cdr password=passw0rd user=root ;port=3306

Continue processing AGI script after hangup
All; I wrote a PERL AGI script that prompts a caller to leave a message using print "RECORD FILE $recordfile wav # 60000 BEEP s=3\n"; When the caller is done, they need to press the # key. The message is then delivered. However, the message is not delivered if the caller simply hangs up when finished. If the user hangs up, the script ends right then. How do I keep on processing the

SetCDRUserField not working in A@H?
I have A@H 2.1, running * 1.2.1. I am trying to put information into the userfield with SetCDRUserField and AppendCDRUserField. However, the field is never populated in the cdr - I've checked the csv files and the MySQL asteriskcdrdb table. The field is defined in the MySQL table, but is always empty. The csv files that get created don't have a userfield at all, that is, there
