Zaptel, Line Impedence and Echo
Hi,
I'm not sure if I just missed something somewhere along the way, but I
noticed while I was going through the CVS logs that there is an option
in the wcfxs module to set an "opermode" - which apparently might help
with echo issues around the globe (like the ones I'm seeing - some
times).
So I'd love to use it and give it a go. Apparently, there are some
options that

opermode=?
Hi All;
If I need to set the opermode to King Saudi Arabia, what the name I have to use? For example, to set it for kuwait then I use opermode=KUWAIT. So what will be for Saudi Arabia?
Any advise?

[1.6] Where to put "options wctdm opermode"?
Hello
The Ubuntu Asterisk package doesn't install
/etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf, so I was wondering where to put the
following line:
=======
options wctdm opermode=FRANCE
=======
Should it be in /etc/dahdi/modules?
=======
options wctdm opermode=FRANCE
=======
Thank you.

Help building dahdi for debian
Hi
I am in the process of installing a new box and using dahdi. I have a
tdm410 + hardware echo canceller.
I have just read in the read me for dadhi that VPMADT032 support has
been removed and unlike with the zaptel stuff i could just download and
install the firmware I can't with dahdi
what is the best way forward to recompile with hardware echo canceller
support.
Thanks

Hi,
On a Lenny system, with dahdi 2.4.0, libpri 1.4.11.5 and asterisk 1.6.1.18,

How to set a HA8 board + B400M in NT mode ?
Hi,
1. Is there any manual entry about modprobe's options relative to a given
Dahdi driver (wctdm24xxp, for instance) ?
2. When loading a wctdm24xxp driver, is there any parameter to pass to
modprobe to configure a span in NT/point to point mode ?
3. After running dahdi_cfg -vvvvv , I can read with dmesg :
[ 1986.289277] wctdm24xxp 0000:04:06.0: xhfc: Configuring port 0 span 1 in

zaptel 1.2.22.1 on kernel 2.6.22: wctdm24xxp.ko needs unknown symbol pci_module_init
Hi,
Before I report a bug on http://bugs.digium.com, I
would like to know if someone is seeing the same error
message.
Personally I am not using wctdm24xxp but other modules
such as wcte12xp and wctdm. The latter modules load
fine and are compiled with pci_register_driver as
expected.
The only module that seems to require the deprecated
function pci_module_init is wctdm24xxp.
Is this normal?

Weird problem in wctdm24xxp driver
Hi,
I'm running FC3 with kernel 2.6.11.
All the binary files and zaptel kernel modules is not available to system at
boot time.
They are extracted in a ram disk at system startup and then zaptel modules
are loaded manually and so on.
I have no problem with this boot routine and i've been tested all digium
cards (expect tdm24) and they work fine till now.
The problem appeared when i

Ring Freq
Hi
I'm sorry for the my trivial quest.
I Have asterisk 1.4 with TDM 400 with FXO and FXS, and works fine from
several months.
Now I want to connect a device to TDMFXS that want a ring frequecy of
25 hz to activate: i am italian, and usually the ring freq is 20 hz.
The other time (I have used that device several times with other
asterisk installation) I have modified /etc//modprobe.conf and

Problem with new AEX800 card dying because of interrupt problems
Hello
I purchased an AEX800 card to replace the ageing cheap channel bank/T1
card solution a few months ago, assuming that it would be a more robust
solution for my small scale phone system. However, it appears to be
anything but that.
Originally implemented as a XEN dom-u virtual machine on a large server
class machine, using PCI passthrough to pass the AEX800 and a small
older TDM400, then
