I upgraded my office server from 1.4.22 to 1.6.0.5 on the weekend and after some testing there seems to be a compatibility problem when using Aastra phones. With 1.6.0.5 all incoming calls to all Aastra phones were dropped after a minute or so. I installed 1.6.1-rc1 and now the newer Aastra phones (5xi) work properly. I've done some googling and searched voip-info but I'm not able to find a good answer about how to provision the GXP 2000. Based on questions I've asked before it seems like a lot of people are using the grandstream phones so I figure provisioning can't be that hard. Is everyone using the web interface for *every* phone? I recently tried to update my Aastra 57i to version 3.2 and ran into a problem. It won't properly register and says "contact mismatch". A Cisco 3560 switch will do 15.6 watts on all 24 ports. Just trying to find out if we need that much power. Can't seem to find any info on the Aastra site. Comments?

Getting "no service" display on aastra 480i. Sip debug shows an "unathorized" blub when the aastra tries to register. Some reading indicates that 1.4 firmware wants aastra.cfg and mac.cfg in /tftpboot/. There are none. Anyone have basic config files? Or can point me to a good link? All links I have tried, that purport to have config files, are either dead or error out.

Hello All, I have a need for a wireless solution and have been looking at the Aastra 57i CT phone that have the wireless handset with them. Aastra says they will cover "up to 300,000 square feet". I am finding this hard to accept. I was also wondering about the "secure WDCT cordless technology" Could this be a form of DECT? Any one using these that can shed some lite?
