cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card oni4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hi, Bristuff works great with HFC card... your compilation problem may come from your kernel configuration... You should check this doc, at least, for the redhat config : http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm Then, installation of Bristuff works like as charm ! cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2 port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000 I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Fritz card technology & German *
Hi all, I've been working with * for a long time now, but only with analog FXS/FXO systems. I am venturing towards setting up a box in Germany now and I believe that requires a Fritz card? Do I even have to use the Fritz cards? Why not a Digium card.... We have 2 ISDN lines ( --> 6 handsets) so I'm guessing that will require 2 Fritz PCI cards (they have 1 port only). Then

mISDN & Asterisk 1.4: HFC-S card not responsive
Hi, I have installed Asterisk 1.4 with mISDN with the install-asterisk.tar.gz script from beronet.com. On my system I have two cards, one a AVM Frit!Card Pci 2.0 and one HFC-S chip. I know both to work well with mISDN on my system from a previous installation. Now however, the AVM card works well at first glance, i.e. it "registers" incoming calls and works through the asterisk

German ISDN&DSL Card "AVM Fritz!Card DSL"
Hello everyone! Has anyone had success in configuring the "Fritz!Card DSL" card, a combination of an ISDN adapter and a DSL modem from the german AVM GmbH (http://www.avm.de/) in a dom0 Domain (Xen 2.0.7)? I had success in compiling the modules from http://www.avm.de/de/Download/index.php3 and they load fine with "modprobe fcdsl". But with the Xen dom0 Kernel they seem to

2 x Fritz!pci card
Hello, Has anybody installed 2 Fritz pci cards in an asterisk box ? I can't make them work : each card is working fine when installed alone (with chan_capi), but I get a kernel freeze when doing 'insmod' with both cards installed. I am using Mandrake 10.1 with kernel 2.6, so the hack described at http://www.quiss.org/caiviar/Two-Fritzcards-HOWTO cannot be used (the hack requires

Asterisk, mISDN and a Fritz card
Hi, I've been having problems getting Asterisk to work with a fritz card (in ptp mode). We've managed to get everything configured, however, as soon as the call is connected we get "Unhandled message: prim 281 len -22 from addr 1000000, dinfo 0 on this port" I checked, and mISDN_dsp is loaded. Any help would be much appreciated! Regards, Chris Jones // Network Administrator

Asterisk, mISDN and a Fritz card -- kernel crashes
Who mentioned fax? :-) Native CAPI isn't an option for us (unfortunately), as our service is a point-to-point service, which the AVM CAPI drivers don't support. We've now got another problem -- we're now able to make calls -- once. The kernel panics as soon as someone terminates a call (and, so it would seem, at various other times too). This has only been occuring since mISDN
