Cuba and tzdata-2007d-1.el5
Hello all,
It seems, tzdata-2007d-1.el5.noarch.rpm contains information about Cuba/Havana time zone that activates DST at a time other than the one that is going on in the country... Is there an updated tzdata somewhere correcting this info? or how can I correct this on my own?
Thanks,
J.

CallerID fail with Voicetrading operator
Hello,
does some people here use https://voicetrading.com which is a Dellmont
service from Netherlands. At the high begining they were also known as
Finarea (CH and DE mixed Co)
Anyway, after moving from Asterisk13/chan_sip to Asterisk16/PJSIP our
callerID is no more seen by them. We use
Set(CALLERID(num)=+331234356789) and Set(CALLERID(name)=Co name) or
equal to CALLERID(num). We tried

OT - CID with Asterisk and Betamax
Hi,
sorry for this a bit OT.
I'm using VoiceTrading for some calls -premium route- and can't get CID
to work despite the fact that CALLERID(num) and CALLERID(name) are setted.
I ask in VT->myAccount to accept calls from my IP without checking
username & secret. On incoming calls the CID is setted to 0100000000
If I accept calls from username & secret and no IP relation,

MixMonitor and Call Latency during conversation
Hi,
We are using MixMonitor to record the call. When the call is bridged, the
latency is significant. We tried to increase the internet speed and the
server RAM and processor speed and still we are having that issue.
We use VoiceTrading and Gafachi's Termination minutes to make calls. As we
are in US and VoiceTrading in Europe, somebody suggested to move the
termination minute provider

Boonex Dolphin PHP script is SCAM! Beware!
Boonex is a scam. I had to purchase their "Advanced" membership first to be able to contact anyone to ask questions or get help. Then after purchasing a license for $39 I posted on their forums and was dog piled by their staff and premium members who have been around so long they forgot how to be polite.
I never got the software working because most hosts have restrictions for the .EXE

"Cheapest" way to determine channels in a group from outside asterisk?
I need to determine the number of active calls in a group from outside
of Asterisk. Currently I poll the manager API and parse the channel
status list but this is becoming too expensive on CPU.
What are my options? What is considered "standard practice" ? Update a
DB field? Poll the manager api? Use an asterisk -rv 'some command' call?

OT - lowest power, cheapest python interpreter
I recommend the Cubieboards or Linkspirt. The advantage of both of
these over a RaspberryPI:
Mainline kernel. See what it takes for a special RPi kernel over on the
Centos-arm list.
Sata interface. What are you going to run your stuff on? A slow SD card
or a slow USB drive?
See my install howto over at: http://www.htt-consult.com/Centos7-armv7.html
And in fact, I have a LinkSprite

cheapest virtualizable Quadro
Hi all,
I am running a VNC terminal server on a virtualized host,
and I would like to add OpenGL support using VirtualGL, which
relies on HW accelerated rendering on the server side.
Since in my case the server is a domU, I need VGA Passthru for this.
Therefore, I need a graphics card that supports virtualization.
I am aware that the NVIdia Quadro FX 3800 card (and up) are guaranteed
to work,
