Problem with register command in SIP.conf
I'm registering 5 lines on my asterisk box from one voip provider. Lines; 4040.0000 4040.0001 4040.0002 4040.0003 4040.0004 All lines is registered in 5060 port so when someone call to 4040.0001 the call arrive on asterisk but arrive to last number registered 4040.0004becouse it is listening on same port as all others. How i make each number register in one different port, like

How do I get DIDs for remote areas in Canada
I want the ability to setup DIDs in a variety of different remote locations in Canada. There are various providers that have DIDs in major cities, but none that focus on the "smaller" cities. The question is how do I actually setup these DIDs? Thanks, Geoff

VOIP - INBOUND Call - best setup
What would be my best option to receive calls via VOIP. I would like to use it as an alternative number when my main number is busy. The solution is not that easy as in order for customer to be a free call DID=Direct Inward Dialing provider would need to be a local company, I think. Correct my anybody if I'm wrong. In the UK there are several providers who provide national rate PSTN => Voip gateways which are free to receive calls on, (for the recipient), the caller pays the cost of calling. Hi, I'm curious if anyone knows of any possibility to use video VOIP client (like Ekiga or Linphone or...) under Linux that could be operated by touchscreen friendly GUI (bigger buttons, large keypad, etc...) ?
