Hi, I noticed a strange behaviour: Faxing using spandsp (TxFax) from my asterisk box to my old, common fax machine at home works fine. Faxing from the same box to my office pc-fax (Hylafax) also worke fine. Receveiving faxes on my asterisk box using spandsp (RxFax) also works fine. It is a PSTN number connected to the digium card of that asterisk box. Then I faxed from my asterisk box (TxFax)

I just want to pdf and email faxes coming in over pstn on a TDM400P. Outgoing faxes would just go out over pstn, not through asterisk. All the voipinfo , etc, howto's are quite complicated. Hi Last month, people reported a crash with Asterisk 1.2.13 and spandsp-0.0.3 when receiving a fax using fax detection. Today I've tried 1.2.14 with the latest spandsp 0.0.3pre27 and with the snapshots for app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c. The problem still happens. Has anyone found how to resolve this issue? I want to setup a phone system that can allow the caller to type in a faxback number, and automatically be sent a fax file. Is this possible with Asterisk? Or using Asterisk & a Linux fax program? I've seen stuff about incoming faxes, but nothing about outgoing. This is over a Zap channel, not IP, btw. Thanks.
