Linksys SPA922 - hangup problem
Hi all,
I'm testing Linksys SPA922 phone and I have strange issue. when call is finished on the phone I see "CallEnded" and normal silence for cca. 5 seconds and then I get fast busy for cca. 20 sec. So, this isn't automatic hangup as on other phones I have tried (Cisco 7940, grandstream, XLite,... ) and I have to manually hangup handset to finish a call. Is this normal behavior

2 Asterisks to one PBX - E1 conection
Hi all,
I have a question regarding connection of two Asterisk servers to our PBX. Each Asterisk server has one PCI E1 card, and they are in failover mode with Linux HA. On our PBX we have only one E1 card towards Asterisk servers.
My question is how to connect these two Asterisks to one E1 card on PBX, and when primary Asterisk server fails not to have to manually pull out E1 cable from primary

Reading huge chunks of data from MySQL into Windows R
Dear List,
I'm trying to use R under Windows on a huge database in MySQL via ODBC
(technical reasons for this...). Now I want to read tables with some
160.000.000 entries into R. I would be lucky if anyone out there has
some good hints what to consider concerning memory management. I'm not
sure about the best methods reading such huge files into R. for the
moment I spilt the whole

Sending faxes with T.38 problem. Asterisk - 1.6.0.6
Hello,
I'm having difficulties to make Asterisk (1.6.0.6) interoperate correctly
with a CISCO mediaGW in order to send faxes to the PSTN using T.38.
When Asterisk sends the initial INVITE containing the T.38 media offer in
the SDP, the CISCO answers with a 488 Not Acceptable Media.
Apparently, it looks like a configuration problem in the CISCO, but I have
tested the CISCO with the Zoiper

Asterisk Fax Receive - how to get the remoteheader?
Hi,
I am using asterisk 11.8 in combination with spandsp to send and receive
T38 Faxes. All works fine, but I do not know
how to get the remoteheader from the fax I receive.
When I send a fax, there are Faxopts to set the localstationid and the
headerinfo, but for receiving, there seems to only exist
the Faxopts remotestationid
but for sure on any fax I receive there is a remoteheaderinfo

Asterisk Fax Receive - how to get the remoteheader?
Hi,
thanks for your answer. Unfortunately this is, what I already know. I
was wondering, why it is possible to set ID and Header for an outgoing
fax (which will then in turn
be inserted via asterisk on top of the transferred "image") , while it
seems to not be possible to get the Header from a received fax (only the
id), although it is present in the faxdocument.
The ID is also

Memory Management under Linux: Problems to allocate large amounts of data
Dear Group
I'm still trying to bring many data into R (see older postings). After solving some troubles with the database I do most of the work in MySQL. But still I could be nice to work on some data using R. Therefore I can use a dedicated Server with Gentoo Linux as OS hosting only R. This Server is a nice machine with two CPU and 4GB RAM which should do the job:

Steve, remember a few days ago when we discussed about issues on Asterisk 1.6.1.13 and T.38 fax reception? Well I opened an issue on Mantis (https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=16756) and turns out it
