DTMF Issues
I have a block of DID's that I ported to Vitelity about 7 days ago. The problem is if a POTS caller dials into the system, his dtmf is not heard at READ() or Background() while a prompt is played. After the prompt is finished, then dtmf is heard. I've been working with their support, but it still not resolved. SIP callers are not effected. Yesterday, I purchased a DID from

OT: 1.1.1.1 is not private anymore?
Hi all, Our network is suspected to be infected by malware by the detector in upline network. Turns out that some of our developers use 1.1.1.1 as a "pinging testing". Google comes to my knowledge that 1.1.1.1 is not a private IP anymore? Since when? Also Google says 1.1.1.1 is well-known to be used by botnet command and control host?? I've blocked it in the local gateway. Just

asterisk 1.4.X, T.38 and NAT
Hi, I have been trying to get T.38 to work with clients behind NAT for the past week but with no success. I have an asterisk server on the public internet and several Grandstream (I tried Linksys too) HT502 ATAs behind NAT in different locations. I tried every possible combination of NAT, canreinvite, t38pt_usertpsource entries, I even tried asterisk 1.4.19, 1.4.24.1, 1.4.25 all with the same

disabling self-fencing
Hi all, on my nodes I have another cluster manager running that takes care of fencing the node, is it safe to disable ocfs2 self-fencing? Details: I'm using ocfs2 over drbd in master/master aka primary/primary mode. In case of loss of network connectivity I would like to disconnect the drbd device, invalidate it and unmount the filesystem but ocfs2 reboots the node.... Is it possible to

Asterisk / Hylafax
On the subject of faxing - is there a way to interface Asterisk and Hylafax running on the same box? I have tried the directions at- http://www.voipinfo.org/wiki/view/T38modem+configuration+with+Asterisk and I just can't get it to work. Does anyone know of a way? (Even mention paid software)... Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 171
The cheap ones on EBay won't work with the SC420 server. I have one and can't make any of the clones work. I do have one TDM40B card for analog stations that works well. The problem with the SC420 is that it won't let you set the interrupts yourself and you end up with interrupts being shared. =============================================================== Message: 26 Date:

How to use * and # as part of number in dial command
Hi all, I am struggling with the following and I can't get it work: In the Netherlands where I live it is possible to use special codes (aka vertical service codes) to set special 'behaviour' of phonecalls. So e.g. when I want to dial out with a normal phone and I dial *31*<phonenumber to dial> then it will turn off my numberindication (CID) at the called party. They seem to

[PATCH] [TRY2] Use nfmark as a key in u32 classifier
Hello! This is the try number two. What was changed: - Added selectable choice in Kconfig file (thanks Jamal!) - Don''t abuse tc_u32_sel to not break backward compatibility (thanks Patrick!). Stephen, do you have any comments on iproute2 part? I know it''s not perfect but this is the best way, I think. "u32 match mark vvvv mmmm" it''s intuitive but breaks a

[PATCH] Use nfmark as a key for u32 classifier
Hello! I am glad to announce a patch for u32 to allow matches on nfmark. The patch is non intrusive (few lines). Why I did this? Because fw classifier cannot be used together with u32. For example, now, you cannot match a mark of 0x90 and a destination port of 80. I know you can do it with iptables to do the marking, but if you use Jamal actions to apply mark to policed packets, you need

Samba 4: LookupAccountName fails
Hello, I don't know if this is the right list to discuss this topic. I have a FreeBSD (virtual) machine running Samba 4 alpha 11 which acts as a AD and another (virtual) machine running Windows 2000 which is a domain member. When a program on the W2k machine calls LookupAccountName to translate an user name to the SID this translates roughly to the following steps: - Setup a SMB session

Unable to use Samba 3.0.1 as PDC
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I'm trying to use Samba 3.0.1 on a RedHat 7.0 system as a PDC, with tdbsam as a backend, migrating from a NT4.0 PDC (the machine on which NT4 is running is going to be dismessed). I've manually created the user accounts as local users, I've manually populated passdb.tdb, setting SIDs and RIDs identical to the existing ones

Manipulation of data.frame into an array
This is one of those instances where a less superficial knowledge of R's technical details comes in really handy. What you need to do is convert the data frame to a single (numeric) vector for, e.g. a matrix() call. This can be easily done by noting that a data frame is also a list and using do.call(): ## imp is the data frame: do.call(c,imp) X11 X12 X13 X14 X15 X16 X17 X18 X19

count number of stop words in R
You can use regular expressions. ?regex and/or the stringr package are good places to start. Of course, you have to define "stop words." add one variable to a data frame
Sarah et. al.: As a matter of aesthetics (i.e. my personal ocd-ness) I prefer using the public API of an object, i.e. *not* to makes use of the representation of a factor as essentially an integer vector with labels, but rather to use its documented behavior. (Feel free to ignore this remark!) Anyway, >cumsum(!duplicated(dat1$B)) [1] 1 1 1 2 2 3 3 3 3 3 4 4 will do it. This is very
