This example is a Sierra Hoyle Classic Games CD from 1998, which should be enough to keep my wife happy without having to reboot my computer back into windows...if I can get it to work. Hi. I have got the following problem: I'd like to use the windows version of firefox in linux. When I download a file and tell firefox which application to use with it, the application opens fine. But the path of the file given to it by firefox is in windows style (C:\...). Is there a (easy) way to tell wine to covert the path to linux style? If yes, where can I read more about it?

Hi Andreas, I saw someone (Mike or Joachim, I think) at the list saying you have to shutdown the wineserver. It will overwrite the system.reg as soon it goes down. Hi list, Trying to set custom paramters for a wine-program as wcmd for example doesn't work for me. I tried setting [AppDefaults\\wcmd.exe.so\\x11drv] "Desktop"= "N" and [AppDefaults\\wcmd.exe\\x11drv] "Desktop"= "N" when global is "Desktop"="640x480". wcmd is displayed on a 640x480 desktop. Hi, I have wine (wine-0.9.42) running nicely on Mac OSX 10.4. I have a couple small issues with IE 6.0 My 1st issue is that the location bar does not work! I can type text into it but when I press enter I always get the default IE 'could not connect page, check your network settings' page.
