Incoming fax detection on mISDN hfcmulti B410P card
Hi,
I'd like to know what's the most "popular" method for automatic fax/voice detection for incoming calls on mISDN cards such as the B410P (hfcmulti).
I'm running:
kernel 2.6.17
misdn 1.1.3
asterisk 1.4.21.2
B410P card
I'm using iaxmodem and hylafax with asterisk (the setup works for zap channels).
I've used the following options in /etc/asterisk/misdn.conf:

Installing the b410p card, unable to install mISDN
Hi,
I'm installing Asterisk on Ubuntu 6.10
When I first compiled the zaptel package I used:
make clean
make
make install
So far so good, but the following command failed:
make b410p
I did some digging on google and found a guide on how
to install it manually, but the result was the same.
I got these files
ftp.digium.com/pub/telephony/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz

Trying to understand mISDN kernel buffer messages...
Hello List,
I have got some questions about mISDN kernel buffer messages
which I posted to the mISDN users list a while ago.
Unfortunatelly I received no feedback at all, so I though I'd share them
in this (wider) context to see if anyone can give any input...
Thanks in advance for any feedback and kind regards,

Hi,
I have a Digium B410P 4-port BRI card.
I installed misdn 1.1.3 with hfcmulti driver and

I configured the card "correctly" as misdnportinfo

mISDN problems
Hi all,
we're buildin an Asterisk box based on an Intel IXP425 board.
The board uses a Beronet BN2S0 ISDN card, mISDN 1.1.4 and asterisk 1.4.2.
hfc_multi has been patched to compile under big endian cpu, and so also
capi kernel files.
All the modules seem to load correctly (configuration was made with
misdn-init config), but when starting cha_misdn, asterisk outputs the
following lines:

Digium B410P: misdn v1 or misdn v2 or dahdi + asterisk 1.6 ?
Hi,
Until now I've been using my Digium B410P cards with misdn 1.0.x.
I would like to upgrade my systems and am now wondering which is the "best" route to take:
- use the latest release of misdn v1
- upgrade to the latest "stable" kernel and use the built-in misdn v2
- use misdn v2 as a seperate package (disable misdn in the kernel)
- use dahdi's support for misdn

mISDN BRI Asterisk 1.4
Good Evening,
The company I work for is attempting to connect an Cisco ISDN Router to an OpenVOX B200P BRI Card so that we can get it to dial out across an existing ISDN PRI Line also installed in the Asterisk PBX
Everything has compiled successfully and the BRI card has been detected when mISDN is started:
# misdnportinfo
Port 1: NT-mode BRI S/T interface port (for phones)

Fw: Re: mISDN BRI Asterisk 1.4
Have you got termination set correctly?
I have a B410P working with 2 x NT and 2 x TE ports successfully.
I had to turn the 100ohm termination on on the NT ports (even though I
have them set as PTP in mISDN.conf).

[SPAM] - Re: CDR Design - Email found in subject
Hi murf,
Speaking as someone who designs and builds billing platforms, this is
very exciting.
One little thing I have most problems with is the good old fax
detection. I know that NVFaxDetect et al do actually answer the call
and, therefore, get flagged as ANSWERED in the CDR.
But, if the call never gets answered after the initial detection - then,
to my customer, it is a missed (NO ANSWER)

echotraining=yes in misdn.conf is invalid or out of range.
Hi.
I'm having problems with chan_mISDN configuration. Line
"echotraining=yes" causes warning, when Asterisk is parsing misdn.conf
and I'm confused why the PBX doesn't accept the setting. No matter
which section I try to offer it, it is always invalid or out of range.
The setting itself is supposed to be valid, it is in the sample
configuration file of chan_mISDN 0.3.1.

Asterisk 1.4 and chan_misdn
Hi list,
I installed a fresh Debian/Etch with Asterisk 1.4 and Zaptel 1.4 from
SVN for 2 Digium B410P card. I ran configure in Asterisk dir, went in
zaptel dir and: make, make install, make b410p. Everything is ok. Now I
want to compile Asterisk but can't activate the chan_misdn channel which
depends on -from menuselect- isdnnet(E), misdn(E), suppserv(E)
When I made the make b410p, all

asterisk DTMF detection
Hi,
Hi All,
I've just delved into the world of asterisk and I'm having a few dtmf issues.
Internally, amongst sip phones, dtmf is fine.
Externally, if you ring from a GSM mobile, DTMF is fine, however if
you ring from a standard phone, DTMF fails to register.
I am attempting to use a quad port HFC-4S Beronet Card. I've been
searching the web most of the last week and

You're quite right. We'll need to see your misdn.conf file to check the
settings.
