Asterisk-MySQL: Not loading voicemail config from MySQL
Folks, I'm trying to get Asterisk to load my voicemail configuration from MySQL. I've followed the instructions at: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+voicemail+database I restarted Asterisk, but no luck: the voicemail.conf does not get updated. I started with a sample voicemail.conf that I found on the Wiki. Or was it from Voicepulse? I can't remember. For initial testing, I

terribly annoying bug with POSIXlt : one o'clock is midnight?
Apparently, as.POSIXlt takes one o'clock as the start of the day : > as.POSIXlt(0,origin="1970-01-01") [1] "1970-01-01 01:00:00 CET" > as.POSIXlt(0,origin="1970-01-01 00:00:00") [1] "1970-01-01 01:00:00 CET" > as.POSIXlt(0,origin="1970-01-01 23:59:59") [1] "1970-01-02 00:59:59 CET" Cheers -- Joris Meys Statistical

Router for SOHO network - hardware considerations
Hi, Last week I finished installing a small network in a private school : one server (an old IBM X225), seventeen desktops (Fujitsu Siemens PIV 2.4 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HD), all running CentOS 5.5. One extra machine is acting as a router, in that it is installed between the DSL modem and the network, with two Ethernet cards, and it's taking care of DHCP, DNS, NTP and also acts like a

Indexing files
Hi all, I would like to start replacing the realmedia content on a clients web site with the Ogg format. The client (a national tv/radio station) publishes alot of content and have integrated their CMS with the Realmedia system in order to index multimedia with story lines. Eg the following link would be published inside a RAM file to point to the start and end times of a story from the 6

Where to learn how to deal with time class variable?
Dear R-helpers, In my data set, I have a time variable 'RecordTime' whose class property is 'times'. When I list my data set, I see the values of RecordTime is like 10:20:30 in a 'h:m:s' format. Suppose I want to choose all the data after 10 o'clock, then use subset(data,RecordTime>10:20:30) just doesn't work. I noticed that all the values of RecordTime seem

Some help with dates.
Hey, I'm new to R but familiar with other programming languages. Basically, I want to store an array of dates. For each of these dates I want to store only the day of the week and the hour. So for example: "Monday 12" would be Monday at 12 o'clock and "Tuesday 20" would be Tuesday at 8 p.m. Alternatively it could be stored as 0-6 for Sunday to Saturday. So Tuesday

panel order in xyplot
Hi all, I have a question concerning xyplot. My data is a data.frame looking like that: In the first column I have numbers from 0 to 23 (hours of a day), the second column contains the name of a weekday (Day as factor) and the third column contains the number I am interested in. So as an example, the first five rows look like that: Hour Day Freq 1 0 Mo 23 2 1 Mo

Asterisk 1.8.20 AGI function SAY DATETIME does not play anything when mode in say.conf is changed to "new"
Hi I am using following say.conf file. Its a default file, which comes with Asterisk installation. When I call SAY DATETIME AGI function, it simply returns without playing date & time. Where as if I use mode=old setting, it works. Is this a bug or mode=new is not implemented for SAY DATETIME AGI function? [general] mode=new ; method for playing numbers and dates ;

lm: mark sample used in estimation
Hi all, I wanted to mark the estimation sample: mark what rows (observations) are deleted by lm due to missingness. For eg, from the original example in help, I have changed one of the values in trt to be NA (missing). # code below # ---- # original example > ctl <- c(4.17,5.58,5.18,6.11,4.50,4.61,5.17,4.53,5.33,5.14) > trt <- c(4.81,4.17,4.41,3.59,5.87,3.83,6.03,4.89,4.32,4.69) #

Questions about doing analysis based on time
Man, R has a steep learning curve (but I suppose you all know this). I have very little programming knowledge, so when I search for answers to my questions, I struggle with making sense of a lot of the pages. I have a spreadsheet that I've read into R using read.csv. I've also attached it. It looks like this (except there are 1600+ entries): > Sunday SunDate SunTime

Delay between DTMF Down & Detected Digit
Good Morning, I've recently gotten Asterisk installed and configured our IVR using FreePBX. Things seem to be going well except a few of our inbound callers are ending up in the wrong place when trying to connect to a specific extension. The example I had this morning was someone trying to call extension 212 and getting connected to the Sales queue which is option 2 on the IVR. I looked in

use dns domain for certificate
Hi, I''ve noticed that facter.domain under linux returns the dnsdomain, and under solaris it returns the LDAP/NIS domain, as this it self is not a problem, I was assuming that puppet first certificate request is based on that fact. as this is not big issue, I would prefer that puppet will request the certificate with the dns name and not the LDAP domain name... any idea how to implement

Cepstral and numbers
Does anyone have any idea on how to force cepstral to convert a number to speech ? I have noticed that sometimes it speaks the number correctly, and at others it doesn't. 1) 787 is pronounced 7-8-7 2) 123 is pronounced one-hundred and twenty-three. 1) is wrong for what i need, 2) is perfect. Is there anyway of forcing numbers to be pronounced as 2) ? I've tried looking at the ssml
