top posting again [was: Re: CDR Design] - Or was it top posting?
Thanks for that, it IS appreciated - but, everyone, can we please not argue this matter any more. Some see it as top posting - some don't. I really don't care either way.
No if we could just get back to the subject in hand and not clog up this list with flames.
Thanks
Andy

CDR Design
I've taken the liberty of starting a new thread to discuss the design
of the Asterisk CDR mechanism. The discussion has been kindly
initiated by murf putting together a proposal:
http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/team/murf/RFCs.
After reading the proposal I still don't think it's the right way to
go. To my mind adding more channel variables increases the complexity
in a situation

Maybe, it's me while following README instructions, maybe README
instructions could be improved or maybe it's wrongly labeled messages ?
That's why I told myself : I'm waiting too much from doc ? is a pure-IP
platform too specific ? what is the official policy ?

New Installed X100p
Hi Tzafrir,
I am not sure what to look for, so I haveattached both the contents of /var/log/kern.log as well as the outputof dmesg. If you are looking for something specific, perhaps I can grepfor it and send you a smaller version. I have attached these as a tar ball to get below the 40K limit at which moderator approval is required. Thanks for the help.
