Howto calculate R^2 from an anconva glm
Hi, If I have the follow example: y = count data x1 = continuous data x2 = qualitative data (2 factors levels) I make a model glm(y~x1,family=poisson) The model has only one curve, to calculate r-square, I do "x1 Deviance"/"total Deviance" But in a model with x2 glm(y~x1+x2,family=poisson) I have two curves, but I dont have, using summary() or anova(), the deviance

Oplock problem in 2.0.7 locks up Samba completely
first of all: thank you all for you excellent work on Samba. However, I dare to complain about a problem with oplocks that of- ten plagues the server here. The server is used for just about everything, Samba is used for file and print services but also as a gateway to a Pervasive SQL database (via a named pipe). Usually after a few days of perfect function (just over two weeks at the last

render :collection calling partial with phantom object?
I have two models with a straightforward has_many / belongs_to relationship: class Premise < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :metered_services, :dependent => :destroy ... end class MeteredService < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :premise ... end and nested routes to match: Demo::Application.routes.draw do devise_for :users resources :premises do resources :metered_services

count number of stop words in R
Defining data as you mentioned in your respond causes the following error: Error in UseMethod("tm_map", x) : no applicable method for 'tm_map' applied to an object of class "character" I can solve this error by using Corpus(VectorSource(my string)) and the using your command but I cannot see the number of stop words in my string! Urgent: DTMF does not work with, rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000
Alex thank you for your response. In this case we are USING INBAND, though I have tried both. Nothing works. Yes ser is configured with mediaproxy. Thank you, -JK JK, In-band or RFC2833 DTMF signaling? Also, unless you have SER configured with a media proxy, the actual "call" is not running through SER. It's a signaling proxy only. -- Alex Balashov Evariste Systems Web :

Auto recording calls?
Howdy, folks. I'm having a problem finding a way to auto-record calls (both incoming and outgoing). I know how to make it so either party can initiate recording, but I want it done as soon as both ends are connected (or prior to that if that's what it takes). It's probably right in front of me and I'm just missing it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jay

Thanks for your reply. I know the command data <- tm_map(data, removeWords, stopwords("english")) removes English stop words, I don't know how should I count stop words of my string: str="Mhm . count number of stop words in R
You can use regular expressions. ?regex and/or the stringr package are good places to start. Of course, you have to define "stop words."
