windows program compiled using wineg++ looks for wine binary
Hi !
I have compiled a sample Windows VC++ win 32 based HelloWorld application using the winelib. I used wineg++ to compile the application in Linux. When I try to execute the application it looks for wine. When I set the path to the wine /bin directory the application works properly.
Is it possible that after compiling using wineg++ the program will run in any platform even if wine is not

Debugging .a library created with winegcc
I am using winegcc/wineg++ to port a windows application to linux.
Everything works fine and I produce .a library files that I link to create executable (exe.so) files.
My problem is that I can not set breakpoints when I am debugging. I start winegdb on my exe.so and write "break <symbol>" where <symbol> is a symbol in n .a library that the .exe.so was linked with. But the

winegcc on non-x86 system
yes, winegcc generates x86 output.
I ever conpiled it on a non-x86 box.
I did not remember whether the generated winegcc generated native code or x86 code.
e.g, how winegcc generates powerpc code.

wineg++ problem with the standard library
I got a really simple code to test but the author unfortunately used conio.h and system("cls") quite a few times. So I thought I'll check if I can use my Wine-1.1.11 instead of a windows installation that I keep on a VM.
I used 'winemaker ./' and then 'make' and that's what I got:
Code:
szczerb at nomad ~/projekty/wine/plansza $ make
wineg++ -c -mno-cygwin -I.

Building wine on rhel or centos 4 get compile error
I am using AMD 64 centos 4.4 to build wine-0.9.25.
I am getting a compile error.
On the command line I type:
export CC=gcc
./configure --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib --x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include
--with-x
make depend
make
The .configure runs fine. My error is:

Compiling old wine versions in opensuse 11.1
dear forum
I am hoping somebody can help me compile relatively old versions of wine (~0.9.10 -> 0.9.23) on openSuSE 11.1. I have a dual boot of opensuse 11.1 x86_32 and x86_64 and have had no luck with either.
I have successfully compiled wine 1.1.11 but have have the same failure with 0.9.10 and 0.9.20.

However, I have absolutely no idea how to correctly implement syscall(3) on s390
