Asterisk to a Huawei softX3000
Greetings,
I'm having a job getting asterisk to register with a Huawei softX3000
softswitch via SIP. I keep getting 401 Unauthorized. Funny thing is I can
successfully register SJPhone, a PA1688 IP Phone as well as a WiFi Phone
against the switch without *any* problems. I think it's got to be something
as simple as perhaps the register string which is currently

Help with Asterisk to Huawei SoftX3000 registry problem
Hello Asterisk People,
I am having trouble connecting asterisk to a huawei SoftX3000 Switch, i
can succesfully connect other softphones like Zoiper, but when it comes
to Asterisk SIP Client, the system doesn't authenticate, i have the
following configuration:

CDR issue
Hello! I?ve an issue whit CDR using asterisk 1.4.23.1. I?ve configured mysql
to store cdr information, but, while I put into cdr_mysql.conf the field
?userfield=1? and doing a query I found that this field is empty in the cdr
table. On the other hand I can?t find records in the cdr table that show me
calls generated through AMI using Originate Action, that?s calls are not
stored in the CDR, but I

Broadsoft Sip provider
I am looking for a sample sip configuration of a SIP provider that runs
Broadsoft VoIP switch. My sip provider is Conecta from Brasil, that only
give me a SIP IP address to configure my asterisk box, when I call them for
support or authentication data to load on my sip.conf, they say me that I
don?t need such data, so, anyone knows how I would configure my Asterisk box
against a Broadsoft peer?

Fax Between IAX Trunks
Hello! I need to send Faxes from an Asterisk box to an Asterisk + Iaxmodem +
Hylafax installed on other box. I have setup IAX trunks between this boxes,
all works fine but can?t send faxes from one to other, Im trying with or
without NVFaxDetect application but does not work. Is there a way to get it
working?. If I connect a fax machine directly to Asterisk with Iaxmodem and
Hylafax, I have no

Hello all!, I?ve running asterisk 1.4.23.1 and I need to get working pick up
from feature.conf. It does no work, only I can connect but cant send audio

CDR and Agents Call recording
Hello, I am running asterisk 1.4.22 and Iam recording calls in agents.conf
with the following configuration:
recordagentcalls=yes
recordformat=wav
createlink=yes
The calls are being recorded , but no entry appears in mysql cdr, and, on
the other hand I have other pbx running asterisk 1.2 that do it with the
same configuration. In cdr_mysql.conf I have:
userfield=1
accountcode=1

SIP IP Trunk, between Asterisk and Softswitch
Dear List;
I am trying to create a link between Asterisk and My
softswitch, the link to be SIP Trunk.
I did the below configuration and I do not know if any
one can help me and advise me to have better
configuration to be sure that link is fine. But I do
not know how to determine the SIP username to be sent
for my softswitch as sometimes the softswitch need to

Asterisk not relaying back the SIP response messages
HI all,
I have the following setup running:
EP<--->Calling Asterisk<--->Relaying Asterisk<--->Softswitch<---> PSTN
The Endpoint EP is registered with the Calling Asterisk. Calls are
forwarded from this machine to
Relaying Asterisk which in turn forwards it to the Softswitch. In
addition, this machine also
relays back responses from the Softswitch to the Calling

Pardon my ignorance, but I was hoping someone could clear up something for
me.
- For a few POTS lines, digium has a single port card for that, or a T1 card
to a channel bank.
- For 10 or more lines, digium has a T1 or E1 card for that too based on PRI
channels
- For 100's to 1000's of lines, I suspect a soft-switch is in order???
