Current bristuff error report
Hello, I just noticed an error in the current version of Klaus-Peter Junghanns bristuff package, especially in the HFC module. Everytime I try to unload the HFC module with "modprobe -r" I got a kernel panic and the complete server hangs up so I need to do a hard reset. Regards, Julian Pawlowski

Enforcing password history policy on password resets
Hi there, We are using Samba as a user directory for our application. Passwords are stored in unicodePwd attribute, and our application resets passwords through LDAP (without the knowledge of the previous password, because it's an email-based reset). Unfortunately resetting it like this prevents the "password history" policy enforcement. This is a security problem that will come up

(no subject)
Hello again, I'm glad to tell you that I fixed that error. It was gcc compiler error and I found the solution right here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/26498/choose-gcc-and-g-version (this link was sent by Harutyun Khachatryan). I changed the versions of gcc and g++ from 4.3 and 4.4 to 4.8 and 4.9 and it worked. I also posted the solution in the gist I've sent you before. Thank you

Zaphfc and BRI problems in Portugal...
Hi - Anyone using zaphfc cards (bri-stuff-0.0.2) on a Portugal Telecom BRI service? I am getting loads of errors and the audio is very distorted all the time. System is a Dell PIII/933 MHZ with SCSI. Here in the UK we have perfect audio with a Compaq PIII/500 MHZ SCSI system. Files are identical in both systems as below: Is there anything magic about Portuguese ISDN? The PCI bus in the

Error in dovecot 2.0.13: "Too many levels of symbolic links"
Hi all, I've run into an issue we have with dovecot versions 2.0.12 through 2.0.14 on latest CentOS 6.2 when dealing with Maildirs located on NFS partitions. Although I saw Mr. Egbert's thread, his resolution does not work on our end. When dealing with users with over 500 messages in any of their Maildir folders, they occasionally receive an error from the server: Internal error

mjr to opus audio conversion - corrupted results
Hi, In our project we use janus-gateway (http://janus.conf.meetecho.com/) as a webRTC gateway and also as a stream recorder. We are on the tests stage of our project, and after very long development time we have ecountered a bug that is a blocker for whole project. After real tests of recording streams using janus we realized that audio and video are out of sync in recordings, despite of fact,

Asterisk with Ericsson MD110 PBX
I was just wondering if someone has experiences to use Asterisk in an existing Ericsson MD110 environment. Particulary I'd like to know if it is possible to use the MD110's system phones directly connected to Asterisk. I'm not very familiar with it but would it be possible to use ADSI with these phones? Are they more like analog or more like digital phones or is the protocol even more

Histogram ploting
Hi, It's my first post on this group. I've just started learning & using R and I like it ;-) I have I think simple question. I'm trying to plot a histogram for my data set. My data set is defined as follows: Class N 12.5 3 17.5 10 22.5 12 27.5 8 32.5 7 37.5 3 42.5 4 47.5 2 Class means middle of set of my ranges I define. N column stores number of measurements counted to
