Hi, I built Wine-0.9.5 this morning from portage on one of our Gentoo machines. I then tried installing the StreeSmart Pro Simulator application from Charles Schwab. The install hung very quickly and got to the point where a winepreloader process was using 100% CPU but was making no apparent forward progress. When I hit Ctrl-C in the terminal where I was running I got this info in an error box:

Hello, I built wine-0.9.15 today. It installs and works to a small extent that I tested it. I then attempted to install and run winetools and had some problems. Hi, I was just wondering what the status of iTunes under and standard version of Wine is and whether any version of WineTools is yet set up to install it? Hi, In a completely clean account that's never run Wine before I run wine --version. Wine installs a new .wine directory but this Wine directory has no config file. I looked in the 3 obvious files but none of them seem to have an option for changing between OSS, Alsa and JAck. where do I make this setting change now? Thanks, Mark

When trying to install Microsoft Foundation Classes I find that winetools gets stuck on the mfc40.dll download. I can download mfc40.dll via my broswer, however.
