Re: [strongSwan] Interop problem Linksys WRV200 with Strongswan 4.1.3 / PSK
Hi Andreas,
I don''t know if the WRV200 is running freeswan or openswan.
We use the newest US-version of the linksys firmware 1.0.32.2 from 2.5.2007.
Another problem is in accessing the vpn-Gateway itself with ssh for
instance,
I get a freezing windows, whenever I tranfer more than just a few bytes.
I can type my login-name and my password, then get a prompt ...

Sorry if this is a long post...
I had this setup for about a year without problems :
Network A <-> wrv200 <-> internet <-> wrv200 <-> net b
The 2 networks are linked with an ipsec vpn. The 2 internet connections are
with the same cable company to minimize latency, both separates /24 subnets.

Max retries exceeded on call - seqno 102 (critical request)
I've seen other request info on this config before.
I've got the system up and running, Zap/Modem has been working for
several days, no errors/warnings.
Simply added info for broadvoice and I can dial into my system via the
remote, but dial out from my box renders the following:
I get one ring on the remote line, then on the console

SIP NOTIFY retries exceeded.
Hello,
I get warnings in my asterisk log: chan_sip.c:694 retrans_pkt: Maximum
retries exceeded on call. I've used sip debugging to figure out the cause.
It's my D-link DVG-1120S that don't understand message-summary events that
asterisk sends out for MWI indication to the client.
Is there any way to disable this in asterisk for this particular client?
Tanks in advance,
Magnus

Max Retries Exceeded - IAX2. Network problem?
Hi
We're having some problems with max retries exceeded errors using IAX2 which
causes dropped calls. Sometimes happens with Firefly softphone, now 1.9.9 (the
current one) but has also happened with a hardphone we use (IAXtel). This is
just for the internal connection between our desktops and our switch - these
are calls which then go out ver ISDN/PSTN and the error is definitely an iax

Has anyone who's gotten this message managed to figure it out and fix it? I've been scouring the mailing list for clues but I'm still no closer.
I have 2 asterisk servers, old and new. I'm trying to switch to the new server. I am using a 2.4 kernel on the new and a 2.6 on the old. I am running 0.9.0 on the old and my sip phones work fine, on the new Ihave tried 0.9.0,

5.6 is out, great my first upgrade didn't work...
5.6 is out. That is good news.
I did a yum update on one of my non-critical server, and the server
stoped responding to ping after the reboot, and never answered back.
It's now been 10 minutes, so I'll have to take a ride to the colo...
Nice work dev team, keep up the good work. Let's hope that C6 will come
soon ! I'm eager to upgrade.

Can't find this specific problem...
Simple setup with Asterisk on RedHat. No voice cards in the box, 2 SNOM 200
