Purpose of DIB Engine?
Hello again. Today I got following question: What is the purpose of DIB Engine? Is it to speed up DirectDraw apps, or is it to add missing functionality for DirectDraw ?emulation?? I'm asking this because I recently tested few DDraw apps (Fallout2 and Happyland Adventures) with DIB enabled and... well for HA there was now significant speed difference, and Fallout2 slowed down even more :( .

Which is the latest Wine that has DGA support?
Hello. I'm trying to find wine that can make use of DGA (with new Linux distros like my Debian 4.0). I need it because I want to run Fallout 2 with acceptable speed - right now it is unplayable (without DGA). So far I tested wine 0.9.15 and some above - and no luck. Starcraft / DirectDrawRenderer = opengl
I'm having a problem with the directdraw opengl renderer and StarCraft on wine 0.9.49. When I run starcraft with the opengl renderer, only 1x1 pixel is displayed stretched to full screen size. If a LUN larger than 2 TB is attached to a Linux VM on Hyper-V, we currently report a maximum size of 2 TB. This patch resolves the issue in hv_storvsc. dddraw unable to draw in CVS
Hi, I often build wine every 2 or 3 days from cvs source, and I recognize that there are updates around x11drv, ddraws, and d3d8/9 at these days. 4 or 5 days ago, where I found that ddraws are unable to draw at all (was still working wine 0.9.15) in some games/programs which use it. Tried to load a theme, didn't work. No error message.
I searched every wine forum and wiki I could find, but there's no information on wine theming. I downloaded an *.msstyles file, and opened it with winecfg (Desktop Integration->Install theme...). Directdraw and Wine Compilation
Hi, I am trying to compile wine in an AMD64 Ubuntu machine, taking the precautions needed shown in the winehq's wiki to do it. The compilation finishes fine, but for some reason there is no support for some things that used to have in the i386 pre-compiled package. One of them is ALSA sound. Is it possible to enable a register setting via command line
