Voicemail- Recorded Mesage Low Volume
Asterisk Users, I am running Asterisk 1.4.11, Zaptel 1.4.5.1, and Librpi 1.4.1 on a Debian "Etch" system. On the recorded voice mail messages, the volume is really low when retrieving them with my cell phone. I tried with multiple cell phones with the volume level high and still, the same problem. I tried to increase the rxgain to 12.2 in the zapata.conf file and it had no affect on

[LLVMdev] [PATCH][RFC] HSAIL Target
Hi, AMD would like to propose including an LLVM backend for the HSAIL target. Patches for review are attached and can also be found at https://github.com/HSAFoundation/HLC-HSAIL-Development-LLVM/ on the hsail-review branch. Most of the recent work is visible on the hsail-1.0f branch, which is based on an LLVM commit approximately 1 month before 3.6 branched. The hsail-review branch is the

SIP Trunk Problems
It gets hard to read my logs when every time someone makes a phone call it displays long pages of "Dropping voice frame". Anyone encounter this before? Asterisk is bridging two SIP lines together, so the technology should be the same. Maybe I'll try allowing only ULAW. ************************************** Asterisk Standard debug (level 3)

How to setup redundant SIP peers
Hello list, I try to setup an asterisk-server with different SIP-Peers to PSTN. The Peer are working and configured in sip.conf: [peer1] type=peer host=10.10.10.1 [peer2] type=peer host=10.10.10.2 Now dialout is no problem. Extensions.conf says: exten => _0Z.,1,Dial(SIP/49${EXTEN:1}@peer1,30) But how can I setup a failure-route if the SIP-Proxy "peer1" ist not

Go Tsan check failure
I guess there is lots of stuff that you don't care about besides tsan/go that is built and tested during llvm build, and there is no way to selectively disable each one of that. By design. In the long run we need to fix all failures (please file a proper bug). If you are looking for a temporal workaround, then comment it out. I don't what else to suggest. I guess that is a routing problem, but I have try with a lot of alternatives without result. I have try with "switch",

Soundpoint IP 430 -- discontinued.
Hey, all. I'm in the middle of a rollout, and just learned that the SoundPoint IP 430 -- my favorite mid-range phone -- has been discontinued. The heir apparent is the SoundPoint IP 450 -- for a low, low, low $130 more/handset. AND it doesn't look as nice. Ouch. Does anyone have any recommendations -- Polycom or otherwise -- for a good-quality, mid-range, two-line SIP phone (with good
