calleridname.agi patch to only overwrite name if it is missing
I edited the calleridname.agi patch to only overwrite the name if it is missing.
The asteridex option still overwrites the name since it is our master list for known numbers.

AGI Script: calleridnamelookup.agi
Is anyone successfully using the AGI script calleridnamelookup.agi (or
anything similar) ?
I get both name and number caller ID from my POTS line, but I'd save
money if I had them deliver ANI only.
I've downloaded and installed the AGI script calleridnamelookup.agi, but
I always get

Caller-ID name lookup via anywho.com
Hey all,
Did I see something on here about using an AGI script to do reverse
lookups via anywho.com? I have a PRI that only gets caller-id number and
no Alpha.
TIA,

Samba 4 and nsswitch
Having some difficulties determining which way to go here.
Have an Ubuntu 10.2 server running S4Alpha11. The samba stuff is
working well enough (though with a bit too much idle CPU
consumption--haven't go there yet).
However, I can't get proper responses for file system and user/group
lookup.
With AD in Samba 3 nsswitch.conf was

Looking for RPM for 1.0.3 for CentOS with imap, ldap, and ssl
Hi,
I don't know how to compile Dovecot from src rpm;s - in fact I tried and
failed miserably. The only other src rpm I have ever built was postfix, and
I ran into a whole bunch of errors trying to build an rpm from the src rpm
at ATRpm.
Anywho, I was wondering if one of you wonderful Dovecot members would be
willing to create an RPM for CentOS 4.5 that includes ldap and ssl.
Or, if

UltraISO can't make a disk image
Wine 1.1.10
Ubuntu 8.04
I downloaded the trial version of UltraISO from http://www.download.com/UltraISO-Premium/3000-2646_4-10177302.html
I need this to make a bin/cue image for an old DOS game, as no Linux program seems to be able to. (If someone can recommend me a substitue, that would be fantastic too)
Anywho, It installed perfectly and runs fine. It can find my CD drive and can read the

ntop from rpmforge
I don't know why I haven't signed up for this list before since we use
CentOS all over the place. The list is very useful and it is good for
me to participate and "give back" to the community.
Anywho, I wanted to post this response to a thread that was created back
in November 2008 about the ntop daemon failing to start. I'm currently
setting up ntop as a NetFlow &

wine 0.9.14, Xorg7.1 and nvidia driver
Hi all
Of interest to developers and Linux users with nvidia cards running Xorg7.1.
3 days ago I built wine-0.9.14 from source on a linuxfromscratch system.
The built went fine. However, the fonts on all wine dialog boxes (e.g.
winecfg) were invisible. I spent several hours rebuilding, trying out
different combinations of freetype / fontforge etc.
Anyway, my box uses an nvidia card and for

New to Wine on a Mac, Please Help
Hello all, I recently installed Wine as per the instructions here:
http://davidbaumgold.com/tutorials/wine-mac/
Everything went fine until it was time to run the program(s).
I am trying to run a map editor for an open source 1998 vintage 3dRTS strategy game. The game was been ported to Macs after the source code release, but not the map editor.
I downloaded 2 versions of this map editor, a 16

The ferret logs
Hi.
We''ve had some problems with ferret not being able to load our classes
(stack trace below for the curious).
I nailed it down to a deployment issue, where an old instance of ferret
drb was running. I don''t understand the details quite yet, but the
result was the the old ferret was never shutdown during redeployment,
and attempts were made to start up a new one.
Anywho,

installing crossover games broke my working Wine?
Note: This is on Slackware 13 if it makes any difference.
(Note: I am quite clued up about the CLI/text/server bits of linux but once it gets to Xorg or sound I'm quite clueless)
Note: this is all without installing WoW within either wine or crossover , just running it straight from disk
1. I had installed the wine that comes in slackbuilds, 1.1.24
I tried a few programs and for example

wine-0.9.15 & winetools problems.
Hello,
I built wine-0.9.15 today. It installs and works to a small extent
that I tested it. I then attempted to install and run winetools and
had some problems. If anyone sees what I'm doing wrong please let me
know. Thanks.
1) Install wine
2) Run 'wine notepad' to create initial .wine directory. Notepad opens.

testing authentication with basic_auth
hi, I''ve got an api which is using
authenticate_or_request_with_http_basic
What are you guys using to test this? I''m using rspec, and before I
was using rspec-rails, I was using authorize from Rack::Test to do the
authentication. However, authorize clearly doesn''t work when using
rspec-rails, so I''m wondering what everyone else is doing?
