Hi all, I have a cologne chip card which is connected directly to the ntba. Outgoing and incoming calls work fine, but incoming calls from ntba have the wrong callerid (first 0 is missing). I'm using current jolly misdn drivers and chan_misdn-14_04_05 with asterisk stable. Is anyone seeing this behaviour too? Thanks in advance Christian

I have an asterisk box setup with a T1 card (hooked to a pri from the telco). Sometimes when people call a number that rings down that pri, the first ring is really really long, like 3 normal rings put together. My indications.conf is the default that comes out after you do a make install. Is this (first long ring) something I can control?

I finally got my ASUSCOM (Cologne chip) ISDNLink card working here in the US. When a call arrives, I get "Unknown IE 42 (Unknown Information Element)" and "Unknown IE 21 (Unknown Information Element)". IE 21 (0x15) is defined as Q931_CALL_STATE_SUSPEND_REQUEST. Anybody using a Sipura 3000 for FXO with Asterisk? Mine is working except for one small nit... When a call comes in from the PSTN, the Sipura answers it and then passes it on to Asterisk, which plays extension ring tone. I'd prefer for the POTS line to stay on-hook while the extension rings, and to only be answered by the Sipura when the extension answers. Has anybody made this work?

Hi, Just installed Asterisk+samples from yesterday's cvs with an ISDN card (passive, Cologne HFC chipset, HiSax driver). When I leave a voicemail for extension 1234 the echo is horrible. Is there a way to reduce the echo in this setup? Probably buying a decent card like an Eicon Diva PCI and use chan_capi drivers with echo_cancellation=on would improve things but I do not have that card
