Can anyone clue me in about these T400 T1 cards I see advertised? I hear they are Digium Clones. Is there some reason to avoid these? How do they compare to TE410P's for example. Bart

Hello all, I am getting console debug messages about "tone detected on channel XX, disabling echo cancelation on channel XX" when using echocancel=yes with a Digium T1 card. does this mean that DTMF breaks the echo can? Does Asterisk permanently disable the echo can or is it for that channel instance only?

I have a couple of questions about Digium's T1 cards, such as the TE410P. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. 1) Do they support standard T1s or are they ISDN-only? 2) Do you know of anyone offering support for configuring T1s for Digium cards, and if so at what cost? I want to make sure that when an asterisk server dies that I am not left with a huge bill afterward for not hanging up a long distance call correctly. Are digium cards somehow set up to recieve a heartbeat from the drivers and if it skips a few beats it will take the t1 down in a way that would terminate the call? Shane

I could only get *ANI*DNIS* working one way and that was setting my signalling type on the Asterisk side to 'featd' The Definity won't send *ANI*DNIS* information back to the asterisk as far as I can tell. Is there any technical difference between a T1 cable and a cat5e patch cable as far as using them with Digium T1/E1 cards?
