Installing the b410p card, unable to install mISDN
Hi, I'm installing Asterisk on Ubuntu 6.10 When I first compiled the zaptel package I used: make clean make make install So far so good, but the following command failed: make b410p I did some digging on google and found a guide on how to install it manually, but the result was the same. I got these files ftp.digium.com/pub/telephony/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz

Digium B410P: misdn v1 or misdn v2 or dahdi + asterisk 1.6 ?
Hi, Until now I've been using my Digium B410P cards with misdn 1.0.x. I would like to upgrade my systems and am now wondering which is the "best" route to take: - use the latest release of misdn v1 - upgrade to the latest "stable" kernel and use the built-in misdn v2 - use misdn v2 as a seperate package (disable misdn in the kernel) - use dahdi's support for misdn

Building and running mISDN for B410P on Ubuntu 7.04
Hi. Using Asterisk 1.4.13 running on Ubuntu 7.04 with Intel CPU: 1) Not being able to build mISDN on Ubuntu using "make b410p" I have used mISDN-1_1_7 which seems to work ok. QUESTION: Should I expect this version of mISDN to work ok with these cards? Or is there a way to build using "make b410P" on Ubuntu? (make force does not help at all) 2) In some of our installations

Incoming fax detection on mISDN hfcmulti B410P card
Hi, I'd like to know what's the most "popular" method for automatic fax/voice detection for incoming calls on mISDN cards such as the B410P (hfcmulti). I'm running: kernel 2.6.17 misdn 1.1.3 asterisk 1.4.21.2 B410P card I'm using iaxmodem and hylafax with asterisk (the setup works for zap channels). I've used the following options in /etc/asterisk/misdn.conf:

B410P: DAHDI BRI PTMP HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel of span 1 (TEI Errors)
Hi all, So, we reverted the LibPRI version and tested it, and then tried with the latest version of everything. Still no changes. The BRI line is in PTMP. If we set the configs to PTMP in the genconf_parameters and try it, we get the following: [Jan 21 17:32:20] ERROR[20341]: chan_dahdi.c:12645 dahdi_pri_error: Unable to receive TEI from network! If we set it to PTP (which it is not) we

OT - mISDN and B410P questions
Hello, I'm evaluating to possibility to use chan_misdn as a short term workaround, in case latest Dahdi is not stable enough for what we are planning to do (we wish to use Junghanns and Digium BRI hardware with Asterisk 1.6) . I've read www.mISDN.org but still have a couple of questions : 1. Is correct that in a 2.6.27 (and up) enabled kernel, the "embedded" mISDN version is

b410p + fax (echo cancellation)
We have recently purchased a B410P Digium 4* ISDN-2 card with hardware EC. On the same server, I also have a regular Digium 4-channel PSTN-card (TDM410P ?), used to interface to some analog devices, a.o. 2 fax machines. For faxing, EC needs to be off (or so I understand from the archives). How can I switch EC off for an ISDN B-channel if a fax is coming in? Z.

Digium B410P and 8 ports connectivity
Hello, Junghanns and BeroNet offer 8 BRI ports cards. Do you know if Digium's B410P has an inner TDM bus so that an 8 BRI ports subsystem (2 PCI slots used, but 1 one set of interrupts) could be made out of 2 B410P ? I know you could (theorically) do this with Junghanns and BeroNet cards. Cheers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Asterisk 1.6, B410P and TE/PtmP mode. Could you get it running ?
Hi, My setup is: IPPhone1 --- Asterisk1 with B410P ---- Patton 4638 --- Asterisk2 --- IPPhone2 I want to evaluate Asterisk1 in TE/PtmP mode. So, Patton box is configured in NT/PtmP (with 3 BRI links between both systems). Anyway, asterisk -rx "pri show spans" keeps replying : PRI span 1/0: Provisioned, Down, Active PRI span 2/0: Provisioned, Down, Active PRI span 3/0: Provisioned,

B410P, dahdi in TE, PtmP mode ?

no outgoing calls with Digium B410P
Hi all! Sorry for my poor english, i'm italian. I installed Digium B410P on my asterisk server. I followed the official installation instructions found on digium site. These instruction, in my opinion, are not clear, so i tried with other ways (found on the trixbox site). I found this: http://www.trixbox.org/forums/trixbox-forums/trunks/howto-install-script-digium-b410p Now i can receive

b410p and DTMF: dtmfthreshold in 1.2.18 zaptel drivers please?
I have the same problem as the following: http://threebit.net/mail-archive/asterisk-users/msg36602.html I am using a b410p (Wildcard) in TE mode on 4 channels of ISDN2e and it totally fails to detect incoming DTMF. The newer mISDN drivers have a parameter "dtmfthreshold" where you can tune the volume above which DTMF detection is initiated. However (I've tried it) the newest

B410P echo cancellation
We own an Asterisk box with the following configuration: Linux Debian 4.0 Kernel 2.6.18 Asterisk 1.2.23 Zaptel 1.2.19 We installed a Digium B410P card, and we are using 3 ports in te_ptp mode (it is connected to BRI adapters on Italian ISDN lines, provided by Telecom Italia; in Cisco language, they should be "isdn switch-type basic-net3"). b410p hangup detection - Portugal
Hi, I've setup a trixbox 1.2.2 instalation with digium b410p. It uses misdn driver. I'm able to place calls and receive calls using this interface. One thing that happens is when i dial an a number from a sip client to an number that is routed through b410p and the called party rejects the call, asterisk doesn't detect the hangup. The sip client remains in ringing waiting for the

B410P - Please an advise
Dear all, I tried everything to make my Digium B410P card working. I'm using Trixbox 2 and I recompiled Zaptel, Asterisk and did make b410p. Everything goes well but at the end I cannot use the card. I don't think the card is broken as in some trials in the past I saw the red blinking lights. If I put dmesg | grep Digium I cannot see anything and in asterisk cli I

Please explain the correct LED color for B410P
Hi. I have installed B410P in Europe and the cards works more or less ok. My question is what color should the LED's on the back of the card be when connected to the PSTN NT box? Is there anywhere some information on the expected LED color in any given state (idle, call active, cord unplugged etc.)? On my card the lights are shining Red(orange-ish) but flashing to green every now and
