Agents on DND still receiving calls...
Fellow Asterisk Users,
I'm running Asterisk 1.2.5, and I've configured basic call queueing using
agents. The problem I'm having is that agents who are on DND are still
considered (by Asterisk) to be eligible to take calls. This means that calls
will hit voicemail even when other agents who are not on DND are available.
Any ideas how I can make agents ineligible to receive calls

server recommentation (unique requirements)
Howdy. I've been having trouble finding a fairly modern server that meets the
following requirements:
- Molex power connectors (don't want to use the Digium FXS power supply)
- 4 PCI slots, one full-length (TDM2400P, 2xT100P, additional NIC)
- dual power supplies
- preferably dual CPUs >= 1GHz
- preferably rack-mountable (3-4RU)
- CentOS-friendly

Prevent client disconnecting fallen-too-far-behind
Hello,
Does anybody know how I can configure icecast so it doesn't disconnect a
client which "has fallen too far behind".
We are using icecast2.01 streaming software for our church home-listening
system.
Our client we use a netgem-netbox.
We are streaming 25kbps MP3 on V90-56kbps modem connection
After around 45 minutes after starting the cleint the icecast error.log

There should be a line-table entry for the end of the function, which appears to be missing from the dump you provided. llvm-dwarfdump should report this address with 'end_sequence' in the Flags. Are you using a different dumper?
I am not sure but my guess would be that inline data is not represented in the line table. The line table's primary purpose is to inform the debugger

This part of the patch is no good. While TIOCM_CAR is equivalent to
TIOCM_CD (at least in some implementations) CAR certainly isn't handled
the same as DCD by genericups. It won't be

max tnt pri voice channels 56k or 64k, does it matter, selection parameter?
Hi All,
We are using MAX TNT to for some T1 PRI interconnects. I'm seeing the
voice channels connect at 56K. Does anyone have the DS0 channels
connecting at 64K for voice, if so what is the parameter to select 56k
or 64k channels?
I'm not having any issues that I know of, just wanted to bounce this
off the group for a sanity check.
Thanks.

Old Contact UPS Info
I tried to find a search button for the mailing list but could not. So rtfm
me with the link please.
If not..
I have an old Deltec PowerRite Pro 2 UPS which has a 9 pin serial cable.
By trial and error Im pretty sure I found LB = DCD, but can not get the
combination for OB / OL. No matter what I do I get the results below.

driver.parameter.CP: CTS

Instruction boundaries
I'm not familiar with the target instruction set, but if "MOV PC, R0" is not a return instruction, I'm guessing that the sequence starting at A39C is a dispatch through a jump table. The jump table would be considered part of the instruction stream and included in the scope of the line table. This is not a case where you would see end_sequence; my mistake.
The line table does

ups.conf configure
Hello, I got this information from the manufacturer of my ups Kobian/Mercury
and were tested wtih powstatd on Linux (Works OK). Now i want to configure
it with NUT and i didn't have any luck (it always says OB)
Initiliasation for monitoring: RTS = 1 (High)
Main power fail: CTS = 0 (Low)
Batter low: DCD = 0 (Low)
Kill UPS: DTR = 0 (Low)
How would the ups.conf look like?

Old fashion UPS monitoring
Hello!
I have a box that monitors the surrounding environment and sends a signal to
a debian machine when it is time to shut down, according to the developers
of the box it uses and old standard of UPS signaling. It is super simple, it
just changes the DCD status to high when it is time to shut down.
Has anybody heard of this kind of signaling, i have googled without success.
But maybe someone on

HOWTO Stratum 1 NTP server under CentOS 7
Hello everyone,
If anyone is interested, I have created a HOWTO
on running a Motorola GPS receiver connected to
a CentOS 7 box via serial port (com1),
with 1PPS over DCD.
The trick here is that CentOS 7 uses systemd
and setup was a bit different. Anyway,
everything works.
The result is a highly accurate NTP server, Stratum 1.
Here is the documentation.

dynamic IPSEC: Holy grail sighted
Hi,
Thanks to some pointers from Christian Kratzer, I am now able to join the
office VPN from a random WiFi hotspot. With the configuration files changes
detailed below, from a public WiFi hotspot I can now use this 3 step
procedure to login to the office VPN.
1) While at hotspot, boot up my -STABLE laptop.
2) Insert wireless card.
3) "rsh server"
This procedure works for a DHCP

T.38 on a MAX/Lucent/Ascend TNT
Hello folks,
I've been trying to get T.38 over SIP working with calls terminated by a
MAX/Lucent/Ascent TNT. As far as I can tell, SIP and T.38 are actually
working perfectly; however, I can't get the TNT to properly terminate a
FAX call. Does anyone have a working configuration for SIP and T.38 for
calls from a TNT or APX?
Here's a brief description/diagram of my test setup:

Fax to Email with Asterisk and Lucent TNT
Hello,
I have a Lucent MAX TNT, (DS-3, 672 modem ports, 28 PRIs). I'd like
to be able to direct an inbound fax call into my TNT, have it answer
the fax and send the image file over to Asterisk, or some other
system to deliver to an e-mail address(s). I'm not sure if I need
Asterisk to any of the call control or not. I'd also like to setup a
print queue and have outbound

Asterisk with Lucent TNT echo
I'm running SIP between my Lucent TNT acting as a gateway, and an
asterisk server. We have a PRI coming into the Lucent. Basically the
problem I'm having is mostly on inbound calls but some outbound calls as
well. I hear echo and sometimes some weird artifacting on calls coming
in from the lucent. Everything routed over IAX to VoIP Jet or Nufone
sounds fine. It seems like every 3

Asterisk and Max TNT Passing calls SIP to PRI, not PRI to SIP Authentication Issue
Hi All,
I have a lab setup with two asterisk servers and a MAX TNT in the
middle like this:
asterisk sip >< sip TNT pri >< pri asterisk
The TNT is running 11.0.6 and the asterisk servers are running
1.2.9.1. I can get calls to pass from asterisk sip to tnt to pri to
asterisk but not the other way. The call from asterisk to pri to tnt
is good, the TNT is passing SIP invite to the

Chris,
My experience has been that the APX and TNT products require a single
SIP proxy, how are you load balancing 2500 calls?
