Rspec 1.0.8 with Rails 2.0
Is it OK to go ahead and generate a Rails 2.0 project with RSpec 1.0.8? Am I likely to run into problems? Would it be best advised to wait or can I go ahead now? Asterisk sends packets on 8004/udp
For the life of me can't figure out why the Asterisk server generates an enormous quantity of outgoing packets on port 8004/udp. They seem to have no effect whether they are blocked by the firewall or not. We're running SIP. Everything appears to be OK (except a large number of ChanSpy write buffer overflow messages, which I also don't understand). How can I discover whether these

Internal Data Stream Error
Hello again, I am using mix monitor and the majority of the sound records perfectly. I then get a "Internal Data Stream Error" near the end of the sound file. Has anyone ever seen this? I am allowing the ULAW amd ALAW codecs and an example dialplan entry is ; ; phone line phone1 exten => phone1,1,Answer() exten => phone1,2,MixMonitor(test.wav|av(0)V(0)) exten =>

Where did UJS go? UJS vs. RJS
I have not been able to access the UJS site, http://www.ujs4rails.com/ for two days. Does that mean there are problems or that it has been incorporated into Rails core? In general, what do you think of using UJS instead of RJS? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google

rules/routes traversal misunderstanding
Hi, I''ve been experimenting with ip route for the last few days to get load sharing accross 2 providers working. While it works most of the time, on a few occasions, packets are routed to the wrong interface. I''m not sure to understand rules and routes traversal correctly (I couldn''t find answers in the howto). So, here are my questions: 1. How does the rule

Tab key traversal
Below is my attempt at changing the focus from one text control to the next control after a person presses the tab key. The wxTE_PROCESS_TAB style property has been selected for each of the controls. What corrections do I have to make? Thanks. #!/usr/bin/env ruby require ''rubygems'' require ''wx'' require ''tp1.rb'' class MainFrame < TPSC

Does Asterisk support STUN or TURN? How to configure asterisk NAT traversal?
Hi, All I have asterisk installed behind non-symmetric NAT, so I have NAT traversal issues. How can I use STUN or TURN to register with the other end? Or Asterisk doesn't support it? how to end the BFS traversal at will( RGL)
Hi, I am using RGL for some of the graph implementations. My requirements is such that I need to find out all nodes that are at distance less than 3. For this, I thought of traversing the graph using BFS and stop the traversal when i reach 4th level. But how do I do this? regards, Sandeep G -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You

Nat + Asterisk + Ser (Far end Nat Traversal)
Hello, I have several * servers behind a SER server (in a local ip range). The SER server is also publicy reachable. On the other site, I have SIP clients that are behind another NAT or in the same NAT range as the * server. Can someone give me some directions/hints etc. on how to make this work. I think I should be using MediaProxy with SER. But do the SIP clients need to register at the SER

ipsec nat-traversal
It seems to me that ipsecnat tunnel type is not complete. Latest drafts of ipsec nat-traversal use udp port 4500 for nat-traversal communications. (It''s called port floating). That is needed to get rid of ugly ipsec passthru devices. Now ipsecnat opens port udp/500 from any source port. And I think ipsecnat won''t work at all with gw zone defined? I''m not sure about

acts_as_tree with Modified Preorder Traversal?
Has anyone extended Rails''s acts_as_tree to use the Modified Preorder Traversal algorithm? This is a really clever trick for optimizing access to trees stored in databases, as described lucidly in this article: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/hierarchical-data-database/2 It adds two integer fields, a "left counter" and "right counter", to each row. NAT Far End Traversal
Hi List, After some research, it seems the only reasonable thing to do in order to get SIP phones behind NAT working reasonably well without fiddling with the DSL router is to have some kind of far end nat traversal mechanism. Is there any way to do this with open source tools? I've seen somewhere that far end nat traversal can be achieved with SER + nathelper does the job... has anybody
