Having problems getting RH72 Samba to join a W2K Domain
I actually did it successfully on a test network
(the Win2K is mixed-mode), but when I took the same Samba server
and plugged it into the real network, I could't get
"smbpasswd -j bottlerocket.com" to fly.
Now realize when I did this in a test network, I set up a dummy Win2K DC
for this same domain, same IP address, etc. So I think something has
a conflicting, duplicate entry. I

FS: Zhone Channel Bank
Hi,
I have a mint, like-new (used only once) Zhone Z-Plex channel bank for
sale. It has 16 FXS and 8 FXO (part number: Z-PLEX-10-24S/O). It
functions as a channel bank, router, and CSU/DSU, combining T1, analog
voice, and data. D4, SF, and ESF line formats are supported with AMI
or B8ZS coding. It has dual T1 jacks, one ethernet jack, one serial
port, one V.35 port, and 24 analog pairs

How to set up different "bottles" in Wine, just like in Codeweaver's Crossover Office?
Hi all,
How does one set up different "bottles" like in Crossover office?
Meaning how do I isolate an installation of Program A from Program B,
when running under Wine?
is that possible? That's a neat feature they have in Crossover, but I
can't seem to find any documentation of how to do the samething in
generic WINE.

Plastic Water Bottles
The plastics industry says polycarbonate bottles are safe.

I'm sure Maggie and here friends would say ALL plastic bottles are
very dangerous.
This lady seems to be at a reasonable middle ground.

I live in Poland and I have my flight back home on Oct 13. I would be glad to go out with you guys for some beer. I'm gonna live in S-F from this Friday, but I can go to

Dear folks,
Next week will be the famous Cambridge Beer Festival, and since beer has
everything to do with compilers, we'll hold the the next LLVM Social there,
trying to find the blood alcohol concentration of 0.1337% to achieve
super-human programming abilities.

SF Beer & Pizza SIG - review and forecast
Wednesday''s Beer & Pizza SIG was attended by about a dozen Rubyists,
plus one extremely well-dressed gentleman (no hacker he!) who was on
the prowl for Rubyists to hire. Beer and Pizza (among other things)
were consumed, Ruby (among other things) was discussed, and everyone
appeared to have a good time.
The upcoming SIG will, as announced previously, be held just up the
