Can Asterisk bridge between a SIP client and a Cisco Call
>
> Hi,
You can achieve this by integrate CCM and asterisk using SIP trunk.
In CCM you can create SIP trunk, After creating SIP trunk in between CCM and
asterisk, you have to configure dialplan on CCM to pass the calls to
asterisk.
One the caller id comes to Asterisk you have to use extension.conf to route
the calls.
You can also try with freepbx GUI to configure inbound route, it makes

But according to the documentation of Digium and sangoma they mentioning to
use dchan=16.
Are there any specific reason you have experiance regarding this and I am
confusing that what this is included to the documentations.

Vidura.

RAID1 building via hardware
Hi all,
I?m trying to create a RAID1 on a machine. I?ve already configurated BIOS (mother board, Intel, S500VSA SATA) so as to build RAID1 via hardware. However on CentOS Installer, when I reach "disk setup" screen, it shows up 2 devices (/dev/sda and /dev/sdb).
Is this right (both devices being showed)?
How should I proceed on this moment? If I create the

variable raid1 rebuild speed?
I have a 750Gb 3-member software raid1 where 2 partitions are always
present and the third is regularly rotated and re-synced (SATA disks in
hot-swap bays). The timing of the resync seems to be extremely variable
recently, taking anywhere from 3 to 10 hours even if the partition is
unmounted and the drives aren't doing anything else and regardless of

Possible bug with latest 7.3 installer, md RAID1, and SATADOM.
I'm seeing a problem that I think maybe a bug with the mdraid software on the latest CentOS installer. I have a couple of new supermicro servers and each system has two innodisk 32GB SATADOM's that are experiencing the same issue. I used the latest CentOS-7-x86_64-1611 to install to the two SATADOM's a simple RAID1 for the root. The install goes just fine but when I boot off the new

Software RAID1 with CentOS-6.2
Hello,
Having a problem with software RAID that is driving me crazy.
Here's the details:
1. CentOS 6.2 x86_64 install from the minimal iso (via pxeboot).
2. Reasonably good PC hardware (i.e. not budget, but not server grade either)
with a pair of 1TB Western Digital SATA3 Drives.
3. Drives are plugged into the SATA3 ports on the mainboard (both drives and
cables say they can do 6Gb/s).

md raid1 - no speed improvement
Hi,
I have two 320 GB SATA disks (/dev/sda, /dev/sdb) in a server running
CentOS release 5.
They both have three partitions setup as RAID1 using md (boot, swap,
and an LVM data partition).
# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1]
md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1] sda1[0]
104320 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md1 : active raid1 sdb2[1] sda2[0]
4192896 blocks [2/2] [UU]

grub/raid1 on centos4
With Centos3, fedora1/2 I have been able to put /boot on a RAID1
partition and have it boot normally. Unlike earlier versions that
used lilo as the default boot loader, these did not make the 2nd drive
bootable but at least I was fairly confident that if the first drive
failed I could use the install CD in rescue mode to fix up the 2nd one
and go on. However, Centos4 won't boot at all with

Many thanks for Eric. :)
I hope this situation will continue.

Asterisk behind a PIX firewall?
Is there anything special that anyone here has had to do to get an Aastra
phone (on the Internet) to talk to Asterisk behind a PIX firewall?
Ports 10000-20000 UDP are open on the PIX and forwarding to the Asterisk
server. The Asterisk server's RTP.CONF is set to use 10000-20000. The
phone registers, and will place AND receive calls, however, no audio is
passed. The phone is an Aastra

unexpected raid1 behavior?
Hi, I''m starting to play with btrfs on my new computer. I''m running Gentoo and
have compiled the 2.6.31 kernel, enabling btrfs.
Now I have 2 partitions (on 2 different sata disks) that are free for me to
play with, each about 375 gb in size. I wanted to create a "raid1" volume
using these two partitions, so I did:
# mkfs.btrfs -d raid1 /dev/sda5 /dev/sdb5
# mount

Fiddling with software RAID1 : continue working with one of two disks failing?
Hi,
I'm currently experimenting with software RAID1 on a spare PC with two
40 GB hard disks. Normally, on a desktop PC with only one hard disk, I
have a very simple partitioning scheme like this :
/dev/hda1 80 MB /boot ext2
/dev/hda2 1 GB swap
/dev/hda3 39 GB / ext3
Here's what I'd like to do. Partition a second hard disk (say, /dev/hdb)
with three
