Link Wine application to open Linux Application
Hi again !
Like i said before, i use Lotus 6.5.1 under wine 0.9.16. When i
receive pdf or .doc file, Lotus Note try to open apprioriate program but
he doesn't find ... How could configure wine to link pdf and doc to
open apprioriate Linux application (like Openoffice and Acroread) ?

launch linux script from windows application

We have developed a client-server application to develop and run an ERP application. The server app runs in Linux and the client app it has been developed in windows with c++, using win32 API. Now I'm trying to run it in Linux with Wine. It works fine except when i have to run some java code, in order to do that i wrote a bash script that works ok when I launch it through the command

Install Wine's fake-windows directory in different place
By default Wine installs its fake-windows part into $HOME.
I want rather have it on a separate partition, that I mount as /wine.
How can I do this?
What I have found was:

Hi Andreas,
I saw someone (Mike or Joachim, I think) at the list saying you
have to shutdown the wineserver. It will overwrite the system.reg as soon
it goes down. So before you make the changes be sure there is none wine*
process running.

Problems with Lotus Notes R5.0.12 under Wine 20050524
Hello all,
I have installed R5.0.12 on Red Hat Fedora Core 3, using Wine 20050524. I'm
getting a lot of FIXME messages but everything seems to be working fine.
Except for the following things:
1) Attachments are working fine, except for launching the attachment to
open directly in OpenOffice.org or Adobe Reader ... Most likely that this
is a WINE issue rather than a Lotus Notes/Under Wine

How to invoice linux shell from wine bottle
We have installed successfully a large financial application on linux by using wine 1 rc. It is written in C++. We need to invoke a php gtk application from within compiled c++ application, and it fails to execute in wine.

I'm also using notes 5.0.12 and I've posted at May,05-2005 a
message just talking about how to start Linux apps from a Windows app
over/under Wine. The only problem is that I'm not using wine-20050524 ...

An interesting development:
Running it from the home directory didn't help, but
running it, letting it fail, then running it again
works (regardless of location). The installer
finishes ok, and places all the files in Program
Files/Internet Explorer.

Function call order on libspeex
Hello,
I intend to make a speex port for freescale DSP56F800/E. I downloaded
the source code, but I not realize which function are called in which
order for encode after calling speex_encode (or speex_encode_int) and
speex_decode (or speex_decode_int). Could anybody help me on this?

Delphi Application.

restart windows problem
I installed wine on mandriva 2008.1 spring
I installes a software called BeInSync.
the install was succesfull but when I try to start the program I get a message that the computer needs to be restarted.
restarting wine q booting the computer diidn't solve the problem.
It seems as if the application don't recognize the restart and waits for the restart after the installtion.

Exploring Folders

my company develops Windows applications and we are trying to get them to work correctly under Wine. We have two outstanding issues
1. Toolbars - the generic icons do not list (ie STD_DELETE). Currently posted under Bugzilla
