I am trying to get a zaptel install converted to dahdi. I can get dahdi installed, and the pseudo device even shows up; however, dahdi show channels shows me nothing. There is a TE122 and a TDM800 in there, and neither show up. dahdi show status shows both cards, and dahdi tools show that the cards are there, working, and have no alarms. What am I missing? We have an asterisk system and Polycom phones that were provisioned by someone else. They want to get call waiting to work, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why the Polycom is returning a SIP 486 Busy Here when you call and the person is already on the phone. I have the feeling there is a configuration in sip.cfg or mac.cfg that I am overlooking. Any thoughts? Calls per line key

I have a customer who wants the Polycoms to display the CallerID name of the person they called on the phone they are calling from. The receiving phone gets CID just fine, but the calling phone doesn't display a name. For instance, if you dialed extension 3000, the Polycom Displays "3000(3000)" Instead of "John Doe (3000)". I am trying to use PHP to reload the extensions in an Asterisk installation. I keep getting this error: Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk.ctl exist?) when I run the script by visiting the URL; however, if I run the script from the command line, it runs just fine (works perfect, actually). I have a AEX800 PCI Express card - sort of a TDM800 with PCI-Express. (or AEX844 - 4FXS & 4FXO) I downloaded Asterisk Now - and have got this loaded on a new motherboard (Intel with 3 PCI, 3 PCI Express - etc). Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24. Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore it. I've tried zaptel versions 1.2.18, 1.2.19 and 1.2.20

SYNOPSIS Erratic red alarm T1 PRI on asterisk, but zttool running concurrently during alarm shows no errors, irq misses, or alarms, on any span. Using asterisk and quad Digium T405P, configured as follows: Span 1 connects to ISDN PRI (fractional 8 B channels, D channel 24). Span 2 connects to T1 Mux and analog stations. Span 3 connects to ISDN PRI Nortel BCM hybrid key system digital trunk.

It appears that zttool doesn't actually report T1 span errors. If I inject BPV's, crc errors, framing errors, etc into a T1 span, the counters on zttool don't change.
