zaptel compilation problems with linux 2.6.19
Hello! I have problems compiling zaptel (tried 1.2.11, 1.2.10 and 1.4.0-beta2 -- all give the same error) with 2.6.19 kernel CC [M] /home/roman/install/asterisk/zaptel-1.4.0-beta2/xpp/card_fxo.o In file included from /home/roman/install/asterisk/zaptel-1.4.0-beta2/xpp/xpd.h:26, from /home/roman/install/asterisk/zaptel-1.4.0-beta2/xpp/card_fxo.c:28:

Problems with CentOS ztdummy kernel 2.6
Hi List, I am having some trouble with installing the latest version of ztdummy on a CentOS Kernel 2.6 system. I have installed a few Asterisk systems on Slackware Kernel 2.4.x without any issues, unfortunately there is no choice about this distro, or kernel as it has been preinstalled by someone else. And so I am in the dark with an unfamiliar distro and kernel. I am fairly sure the

Zaptel 1.4.0
I go to my Zaptel 1.4.0 folder and run ./configure; make linux26; make install and I don't see any errors. This is out of my modprobe.conf: install tor2 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install tor2 && /sbin/ztcfg install torisa /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install torisa && /sbin/ztcfg install wcusb /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install wcusb && /sbin/ztcfg install wcfxo

Compiling Zaptel 1.2.10 on Ubuntu 6.10
Here's a weird problem that I'm not quite sure how to resolve. Zaptel 1.2.10 compiles just fine with "make", but when "make install" is run, this happens: [ `id -u` = 0 ] && /sbin/depmod -a 2.6.17-10-generic || : [ -f /etc/zaptel.conf ] || install -D -m 644 zaptel.conf.sample /etc/zaptel.conf build_tools/genmodconf linux26 "" "tor2 torisa wcusb

Problems building zaptel 1.4.4
Hi, I'm having trouble compiling zaptel 1.4.4 on SUSE 10.1. I'm really only interested in getting ztdummy to work because this is a dev machine with no zaptel h/w. SUSE 10.1 is a 2.6 kernel: asterisk-dev:/home/hugh # uname -r 2.6.16.13-4-default It seems that my problem is related to autoconf.h - I cannot find that file: asterisk-dev:/home/hugh # find / -name 'autoconf.h'

Problem setting up TDM22B card
Hi All, I have the problem setting up TDM22B card. Steps what I have followed are: [1] compiled zaptel-1.0.9.2 & installed the same. [2] modprobe wcfxo /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/misc/wcfxo.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

auto 'modprobe wct1xxp' on startup?
Hi guys, Thanks for your answers on my two questions yesterday. That's exactly what I was looking for, sorry for not noticing it myself, but I'm still getting acclimated to Asterisk and even Linux--from what I see so far, I love it. I've got another one now. Since my Asterisk install and configuration is fairly stable at this point, I'm interested it ensuring that during

ztcfg problems
Hello, I'm running Fedora Core 3 with udev, and asterisk/zaptel/libpri from cvs. I have followed the README.udev instructions replacing insmod with modprobe and rmmod with modprobe -r and adding the 60-zaptel.rules file, yet no matter what I do I still get this error on boot(or when I run service zaptel restart): [root@pbx ~]# /etc/init.d/zaptel restart Unloading zaptel hardware drivers:

OSLEC and zaptel-1.4.5.1
Hi all, After reading great things about the OSLEC Echo Canceller (http://www.rowetel.com/ucasterisk/oslec) and seeing the reactions of people who have tried it on a recent Trixbox thread (http://www.trixbox.org/forums/trixbox-forums/open-discussion/need-people-echo-problems), it sounds like it is the "bees knees" for sorting out echo problems with cards like the x100p. Has anyone

fxs card not loading in new computer
(I'm producing a writeup on all the things one run into building an * box. Which after a couple of boxes is showing up aplenty.) So this uses the working h/w and config's from another box. All I do is build in a new computer. Loading the modules I got: __________________________________________________ Zaptel Configuration ====================== Channel map: Channel 01: FXS

IRQ headaches
Excuse my ignorance here, but I am desperately trying to isolate the IRQ for my TE110P card (shown below as t1xxp) Ive gone into my bios and disabled all usb , parallel, serial and some other devices, those that I needed to keep, I have moved off of IRQ 10 and onto IRQ 5, but everytime I boot up, I get usb-uhci and ehci_hcd using IRQ 10 as well as my Digium card. Does anybody know what these are

Asterisk 1.0.7 on Gentoo
I installed Asterisk on Gentoo using emerge. At first, emerge tried installing version 0.9 but reading the wiki showed how to get the latest stable. I'm running Gentoo kernel 2.6.11-gentoo-r9. Asterisk seems to be working just fine, but I'm concerned that since I don't have any Digium hardware, I may need a timer source. When I executed emerge zaptel, it installed zaptel 1.0.7

Re: zapata with Tiger3XX compilation error
Ok so I read the Linux 2.6 related README and finally compiled propperly, I thought but at the end I notice that lscpi does report the cards, but I cant modprobe wcfxo nor zaptel and I do have wcfxo.ko in the /lib/modules/2.6.8/extra/ directory, so what gives? This is a Debian Sarge, thanks! # # make clean starts here # make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/zaptel-1.4.0/menuselect' rm
