Is AsteriskNow 2 solid?
Hi, I currently have some systems on AsteriskNOW 1.7 & have been happy with its clean simplicity & reliability. Are many people here using AsteriskNOW 2.0.x? How do you feel about it? Did Digium stick with their previous philosophy of keeping everything very vanilla & making it clean & simple for someone who understands how to manage CentOS, FreePBX, tftp, ntpd, etc. but

AsteriskNOW and config files
Hello, Is it possible to set things such as parts of config files are edited though AsteriskNOW GUI while other parts remain "hand editable" ? AsteriskNOW website include screenshots but not much information (such as user manual) beside that. This thing was the one that kept us from using freepbx (let me say I don't mean it's not possible with freepbx : I mean we couldn't

Vitelity and AsteriskNOW
I wanted to try AsteriskNOW plus a few others to see which I can wrap my head around the quickest. The issue so far is I can't figure out how to use my Vitelity account with it. I went so far as to put their Asterisk configuration in the sip.conf file but still no joy. Any pointer as to where to search? I found a few threads in the AsteriskNOW forums and one thread from last year on

AsteriskNOW Migration
I currently have a customer that a previous employee setup with Gentoo\Asterisk. I'm looking to migrate to AsteriskNOW. They have a custom menu, which I would assume is easily replicable in AsteriskNOW. The only other thing I can think of is the sound bites for the menus. Does anyone have any advise or migration recommendations for this move? -------------- next part

AsteriskNOW 1.5 upgrade from 1.4 to 1.6
This link (http://blogs.digium.com/2008/10/13/asterisknow-15-beta-available-more-coming-soon/ ) seems to indicate that in order to upgrade AsteriskNOW v1.5 from Asterisk 1.4 to 1.6, it's as easy as installing an upgrade package. Does anyone know where to find that upgrade package? If it doesn't yet exist, what is the process for upgrading?

If so, here's my question: I've been using Iphonecom.com's services for abour 3-4years now, to connect and call my brother who lives in the US and my parents, sister and me (all located in Belgium). We're OK with their services, but we wanted to be more free in

PBX Status-like module for AsteriskNow?
I've moved from trixbox to AsteriskNow. Does anyone know if there's something like the PBX Status screen for AsteriskNow? A module the shows the status of SIP and IAX2 registry and peers, etc for all individual entries? The FreePBX System Status screen shows when something fails to register but doesn't show who it is. asterisknow-version
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable asterisknow-version from writing over my issues file? Alternatively is it really required to have it as a dependency in asterisk 13? Surly everyone has upgraded from the old repository file system and asterisk 13 wasn?t even on the old file system. Upgrade from 1.0.x to AsteriskNOW 3.0
Hello all. I was hoping someone out there might have some advice or suggestions regarding an upgrade from an archaic Asterisk version. I've been given the daunting task of upgrading a very old Asterisk-1.0.x install to a recent LTS version. I'll also need the install to have high-availability and failover support. From my research, it would appear that AsteriskNOW-3.0 might be my
