Hi, I had exactly the same problem and managed to solve it. The solution that worked for me was very simple : in the "audio" tab of wine config dialog, I changed direct sound acceleration from "complete" to "emulation" and... Miracle ! IT WORKED !!! :D Hope that'll work for you too.

Well, as for the keyboard issue, I've come up with what sounds like an easy work-around. Since its now possible to get LOD working, and LOD works in 800x600 mode, DXgrab should be irrelevant.
