In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook

[headset/mic] Volume too low + echo in *
Hello, I'm having the following problem when using a headset on XP connected to an on-board Realtek soundcard on an AsusTek M2N68-AM Plus motherboard: - Using any sound recorder (Windows', Audacity, XLite), the level is just too low when speaking at a conversational level, even with the microphone level pumped all the way up (line displayed totally flat in Recorder)

Headsets for Cisco 7940/7960
What headsets have people found work well with the Cisco 7940 and 7960 phones? To date, I have tried a couple of the headsets within the Plantronics H series (H41-N), and noticed that the volume of my speaking is lower over the headset than on the regular handset. I am currently looking for headsets that are known to work well. I do know that Cisco lists the H-91 and H-101 as certified to

Polycom IP601 call parking
One more Polycom IP601 question please (sorry for the long intro here to document) ... In order to closely approximate the behavior of the previous telephone system that many of the users are familiar with, I have set up call parking like this: - features.conf [general] section contains: parkext => ** ; What extension to dial to park parkpos => 10-11 ; What

Polycom IP601 (mac)-directory.xml changes don't update phone
Hi Polycom experts, I'm having a problem getting changes to the Polycom IP 601's (mac)-directory.xml file to update the button list on the phone. If the phone is newly provisioned (i.e. if I "Format File System" on the phone) then the new list will show up on the buttons, but of course this is pretty drastic way to do it. - Environment: Asterisk test setup with 7 phones,

Sipura 841 and headset
Hi folks ! I bought two sipura 841 phones. I used to have GN Netcom headset which I connect instead of the handset. The problem is that I don't have any sound coming out the headset and I can't speak neither ! I'am located in France and I was wondering if the cabling in the sipura and in the headset is the same (I mean the order of the cables) or maybe is there something else to

USB headset recommendations
I'd like to get some feedback from users of USB headsets as to what they like/dislike about the unit they own (manufacturer/model number). I'm looking to buy some. Is there already a thread somewhere or a review (I tried to find one with no luck), discussing this topic? Any advantages/disadvantages to using a USB headset over a regular headset slaved off the internal sound card?

OT: Headset for Cisco 7960?
Sorry, I know it's OT, but does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive headset that is compatible with the Cisco 7960? I've tried the headset off Norstar phones, doesn't seem to work with or without the amp. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | nate carlson | natecars@natecarlson.com | http://www.natecarlson.com | | depriving some poor

OT: Wireless headset / phone combination
I've been asked for recommendations for a small call centre, an ethernet SIP deskphone with a wireless headset. Similar approach would be a mobile phone with bluetooth head set. Either I've not looked hard enough, or there isn't much on offer. Alec Davis -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Snom 320 echo
Has anyone ever encountered an echo on the IP phone side of a call? It is an echo of the user's own voice. I believe that no one else in the office is experiencing this problem. The phone itself is a Snom 320. I've asked Snom for assistance since my source no longer carries Snom, but unlike previous times they've been slow to respond. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing

SIP "agent" phone w/ headset
I have a call center where we're looking at converting it from a traditional PBX w/ digital phone "agent" sets (keyless phones) that have headsets to a SIP based environment. I am having trouble finding anything on the market that resembles this in the VoIP world. For reference, we're currently using Inter-Tel Agent Sets, which are basically a digital phone with out any keypad,

OT: High Quality Wireless Headset for Cisco IPPhones and *
Tom - here are a few suggestions Plantronics 510SL Bluetooth - they make a bundle that comes with a Bluetooth transceiver and a handset lifter. This is nice if you have users that already have Bluetooth headsets for their mobile phones, as it allows you to sync with their office phone as well. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat29880043/cat2 9880054/prod5460016
