Networking/routing issue
Hello, I've been working on this for over a week. I don't think its working the way it should. Here's what I'm trying to do: I have a Windstream dsl router with wireless > 192.168.1.100 | | Centos 6.8 server eth0 > 192.168.1.110 > gateway 192.168.1.111 eth1 > 192.168.1.111 > gateway 192.168.1.100 | | Switch > other

Sadly you failed to set your email program to send plain text and the data is corrupted at my end. I also think you need to reduce the size of the data set... the intent here is to increase your understanding, not debug your particular analysis. I will say that I am having a very challenging time understanding what you are trying to accomplish though. What are the equations that you think need

info on shorewall and Mirc
Hi ! I read that you had that problem : Did you solve it? How you did ? Thnx. Hello, I am running shorewall with a two interface firewall. PCs on the lan side have static ips. I am able to connect to Mirc and receive DCC Gets but my problem is that I am not able to do a DCC send. Is there a way to get the DCC Sends to work. Thanks.

OK, Let's try this again! Here is the reproducible script; it is long because I had to copy the panel dataset here. My question is related to systemfit; I don't know how to get the result for the entire panel. #Reproducible script Empdata<- read.csv("/Users/ngwinuiazenui/Documents/UPLOADemp.csv") View(Empdata) install.packages("systemfit")

Problem with TC
I''m trying to use the traffic control features of Shorewall. I share my network with some guys, and I have a tcclasses file like this: #Hunter Fuller eth0 100 1500kbit full 50 tos-maximize-throughput #(other guy''s name) eth0 110 1500kbit full 50 tos-minimize-delay etc., based on their personal preferences. Howto? 2 interfaces, same network, same gateway
Hello Summary: I have ifplugd managing eth0 and wlan0 (both dhcp). When I plug in the cat5 (which brings up eth0) applications which have already bound to wlan0 stop working, obviously because wlan0 for some reason is unable to get non-local packets out that interface. I figured if poodoze is able to have both interfaces working, then linux must surely be able to do it as well. The

ask for help on nonlinear fitting
I have a table like the following. I want to fit Cm to Vm like this: Cm ~ Cl+Q1*b1*38.67*exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867))^2+Q2*b2*38.67*exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867))^2 I use nls, with start=list(Q1=2e-3, b1=1, Vp1=-25, Q2=3e-3, b2=1, Vp2=200). But I always get 'singlular gradient' error like this. But in SigmaPlot I can get the result. How

need a solution to an R-problem: consultant available?
I am trying to get confidence bands for a non-linear power function (y=mx^b). I thought I should be able to figure it out, but can't. Are there any R consultant? I would be willing to pay some amount of money, but not sure such consultants exist. I fit power functions to lots of data, and this would be very useful. I would ideally like to have confidence bands for the mean function and a

About ping latency in SR-IOV
Hi, Greg, Eddie, I found that in SR-IOV + HVM environment, ping latency depends on ping interval. The NIC is Intel 82576 (1000Mbps), server uses xen-4.0.1, domain-0 is kernel-2.6.32 and HVM is kernel-2.6.31. The server and client are connected through a 1000Mbps switch. The data is as following: # ping -i 1 192.168.0.21 PING 192.168.0.21 (192.168.0.21) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from

Networking issue (after latest 5.1 update?)
I'm not *entirely* sure but this began happening at about the time I installed the latest kernel updates for CentOS 5.1 (kernel-2.6.18-53.1.6.el5.i686.rpm from January 24). Shortly before that I changed the encryption on my wireless router and switched from ndiswrapper back to the standard bcm43xx driver, but I'm pretty sure the network was OK before that update for the simple reason that

Standardized residual variances in SEM
Hello, I'm using the "sem" package to do a confirmatory factor analysis on data collected with a questionnaire. In the model, there is a unique factor G and 23 items. I would like to calculate the standardized residual variance of the observed variables. "Sem" only gives the residual variance with the "summary" function, or the standardized loadings with the

Laine I made the change and I can now ping across both bridges: br1 (192.168.0.0/24) and br1600 (192.168.1.0/24): br1: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500         inet 192.168.0.110  netmask 255.255.255.0  broadcast 192.168.0.255         inet6 fe80::1e98:ecff:fe1b:276d  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x20<link>         ether 1c:98:ec:1b:27:6d  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)

High network latency on first packet
Hi all, My setup is Debian testing dom0/domUs with a 2.6.32 pvops kernel from Debian unstable. Hypervisor is 3.4.2 from Debian testing. I use network- and vif- route with a default route in domU pointing to the nic because multiple IPs with bridge would trigger port shutdown on the switch (only one mac-address allowed per port). A subnet is routed to the dom0, which then knows which addresses the
