SPA941
Hi all, I'm new to this list, so forgive me if I'm not supposed to ask this: I currently own a Linksys SPA941 SIP phone with 5.1.8 firmware. Is there any way to use TLS with this phone<--->asterisk (v 1.6.0.9)? It is said that is supports TLS/SRTP but I don't see any of these options in the configuration file or the admin (advanced) SIP conf panel. Am I missing something? Thnx

SPA941 WMI not lighting up when natted
Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem. We have 2 office locations and the Asterisk server is at one of them. At the other location, all SPA941 access the Asterisk server over an Internet link. All phones are set to "nat=yes" at the remote location. So my problem is that the MWI doesn't work at the remote location. The Sipsak messages are sent properly, but it's sent to the

SPA941 WMI not lighting up when natted
I have an a bunch of SPA941 Linksys phones for users in and out of the office. When the phones are in the office (and on the same network as the asterisk server) the WMI goes on when it should and off when it should. But when the phone is on another network and natted it fails to do so. The light always stays off. Has anybody had a similar problem (and hopefully a resolve)?

Hi all, i know this question is not directly asterisk related - but i have no idea where else to ask. We do have around 50 pieces of LinkSys SPA941 - these phones do have a 2.5mm plug connection - and we do have many many headsets we used with normal PC's before (so 2x3.5mm plug connection). Does anyone here know where i can get an adapter 1x2.5mm -> 2x3.5mm ? Or can anyone here tell me

SPA941 et al LED indications
Hi all. The SPA941 and friends have pretty multicoloured LEDs, but there doesn't appear to be any support for SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY as * as implemented for extension hinting. Has anyone managed to get the phone to support this? BLF with SPA941?
Appearently SPA941 is less than a SPA942 without two ports, poe and backlight. There is less features too, it doesn't support BLF. Is it possible to hack 942-software into 941, or is there another workaround? Leif -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... GS/* phonebook
Hello, I wrote a small AJAX phonebook targeted at Grandstream phones although the basic functionality doesn't require a SIP-phone. Asterisk integration (call history, incoming call info, click-to-dial) is not yet implemented, but on my ToDo list. Features * Licenced under the GPL v2 * Uses gettext. So translation should be easy. Includes German and English. * Uses xajax for a

GS/* phonebook + Web-BLF
Hello, I updated my AJAX GS/* phonebook. It now actually has Asterisk integration with incoming call-notification, a searchable call history and clickable BLFs. The BLFs can monitor specific extensions (SIP/phone - may work with other channels than SIP if the AMI generates the appropriate events), Asterisk hints or connectivity to external SIP-servers. Features * Clickable BLFs (Dial,

Voicemail: search for name in a phonebook
Hi list! I'm using Asterisk 1.8.30.0 on a OpenWRT device and it works perfectly. I configured a voicemail and I receive an E-Mail with some information about the call. Again, wonderful! Now my wish: I'd like to have Asterisk to search the caller in a list file and send me the name corresponding to the number in the E-Mail of voicemail. Is it possible? I currently use ${VM_CALLERID} in

Dialing from phonebook, and hiding the dialed number from the user.
Hi, does anyone have a recommendation for a SIP phone, which allows dialing from a phonebook, and hiding the dialed number from the end users? Also from the call history of course. It seems Mitel can do this, and I have a use case where this is a requirement. Thanks, Antonio -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

"nonstandard" column names
Hi everyone, I am sure that this question has been asked here some time ago but I do not remember the answer and was unable to find it in the archives... Below is my question: suppose that I have a data.frame x and one of it's columns name is "CPI/RPI" (without quotation marks of course). How can I reference this column? Neither of x$CPI/RPI or x$"CPI/RPI" work. I
