chan_cellphone won't pair with phone
I'm running chan_cellphone version 13 on the latest svn trunk (as root). I believe I have chan_cellphone set up correctly (bt addr and port retrieved from the "cell search" CLI command). When I load the chan_cellphone module, my Motorola V3m asks if I want to allow "Asterisk PBX", I say yes and enter the 0000 for the pin, then my phone tells me the pin is invalid. Here

Cannot compile chan_bluetooth on Asterisk 1.2.1
The short of it: I am unable to compile chan_bluetooth on Asterisk 1.2.1 on CentOS 4.2. I installed using the Asterisk@Home 2.2 iso. Server is a plain Celeron 2.93GHz box. Asterisk source is in /usr/src/asterisk, newest chan_bluetooth source is in /usr/src/asterisk-test/bluetooth/chan_bluetooth (I have two older versions in other directories). Steps taken: Followed the instructions here to a

More current version of bluez
Centos continues to fall behind in with the state of bluetooth development. Nothing new from 5.1 to 5.2. Has anyone got a more recent version working and have compile and rpm build instructions? Here are the rpms that I have: bluez-gnome-0.5-5.fc6.i386.rpm bluez-hcidump-1.32-1.i386.rpm bluez-libs-3.7-1.i386.rpm bluez-utils-3.7-2.el5.centos.i386.rpm bluez-utils-cups-3.7-2.el5.centos.i386.rpm

running asterisk through cellphone
hi everybody, I'm currently planning a small-sized web-applicaiton allowing users to call-in via phone. the phonecalls should be recorded and processed further by some custom scripts - sounds like asterisk is a perfect match for this app. however, during prototyping I have no ISDN-connection whatsoever available, so I was asking myself if it's possible to connect a cellphone via

Kickstart, package always selected
I'm trying to kickstart a Centos 4.1 system with the minimum set of packages. I have no use for ypbind so I'm trying to prevent from being installed, but kickstart/anaconda always insist on its installation (complaining that the package is missing). This is the %packages section of my ks file so far: %packages #-@ dialup kernel grub e2fsprogs lvm2 -slocate -bluez-utils -bluez-bluefw

Latest chan_mobile
Hello, I recently updated my asterisk-addons-1.6.2 to the last revision and I have this problem that I don't know how to interpret, bug or not. I connected a Nokia N80 phone to use chan_mobile and everything works great until the phone starts getting disconnected after the call finished and sometimes during the call attempt. Is this a bug or a possible known issue for Nokia phones? # rpm

Sending files from mobile to CentOS via Bluetooth
Has anyone here managed to send files from a mobile phone to a CentOS system via Bluetooth? I'm trying with a Samsung E1310, using the GNOME tools, but can't get it to work. I can send files from the Linux box to this phone using the Nautilus bluetooth plugin (nautilus-sendto-bluetooth), and have also managed to "pull" some data I've been trying to send, via

Chan_mobile issue
Hello, I just did a fresh svn install of 1.4 trunk everything. Everything compiles and installs just fine. When I get to asterisk-addons, I cannot select chan_mobile in menuselect. Chan_mobile is not even an option in menuselect for asterisk trunk. I tried the latest patch which failed in many places but did add an option for chan_mobile in menuselect for asterisk but it still cannot be

Can't start pand -- is the problem in /etc/rc.d/init.d/pand?
I have been stepping into pand. There is nothing I can find on this list about getting pand working. There are some instructions on wifi.bluez.org that seem to be redhatish, but.... I have edited /etc/sysconfig/pand: PANDARGS='--listen --role GN --master' I have created a /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bnep0: DEVICE=bnep0 BOOTPROTO=none ONBOOT=no IPADDR=192.168.201.101
