Aastra Questions
Hi,
Does anyone have experience with Asterisk and the aastra 9112i or
9133i phones? I am looking at purchasing some, and was curious how
quality, and stability was with them.

Aastra 480 i
Getting "no service" display on aastra 480i. Sip debug shows an "unathorized" blub when the aastra tries to register.
Some reading indicates that 1.4 firmware wants aastra.cfg and mac.cfg in /tftpboot/. There are none.
Anyone have basic config files? Or can point me to a good link? All links I have tried, that purport to have config files, are either dead or error out.

More interesting is that after make samples I have no iax2 available.

Aastra 9331i phones
Hi,
I just purchased a 9331i phone. It's great! However, having a slight
issue with line 2 and 3. line 1 works fine.
But when I try to make a call with line 2 or 3 I get a fast busy from the phone.
Asterisk shows this:

Question on Aastra phones and Astrisk
Hi,
Some odd behaviour here. A friend and I were talking tonight,
and it seems we have both seen the same problem. We are both using
aastra phones (I am using 9113is). We have a connection to and from
providers via SIP and IAX. When I place a call on the local hold of
the phone, and then pick them back up I can hear them, but they can
not hear me. However, if I park the call,

SIP and error talking to voicemail
Hi,
I used to have a Grandstream phone connected to Asterisk a few months ago.
Worked just great!
Then today I do a new install, rather than an upgrade, and all of a sudden I
cannot check voicemail with it. No problem calling or receiving call. It
simply speeds through the vm greetings but I cannot hear them. If I check the
same VM with an analog phone it works fine.
So I wanted to check

Voice mail options/behaving change?
How to change available options (behaving) during listening of voice
mail? (They are unnecessarily complicated)
For example, I don't want to press 3 (advanced options) and again 3 for
envelope. I just want to play envelope. Also, when saving message, I do
not want to choose folder, I want that message as default be saved in
old messages. And, I don't want to press 6 for next message, I do

BLF with Aastra
I have a 536i expansion module attached to a 57i-CT. The BLF lights
on the 536i will light up and work fine for a while... however after a
bit they seem to loose their ability to see if someone is on a phone.
They still work to dial, if I try to dial, however, they don't light
up when someone makes a call, or if their phone rings. If I reboot
the phone, the lights start working again

OT - Aastra phones provisioning
Hi,
I can't find a way to tailor DHCP/TFTP/HTTP environment so that brand new
Aastra SIP phones can be auto-provisioned when config files are stored in a
specific TFTP subdirectory instead of TFTP root directory.
For instance, TFTP root directory is /srv/tftp.
When config files are stored in /srv/tftp, a new Aastra can find its config
files.
When config files are stored in /srv/tftp/aastra,

Aastra phones occasionally show "No Service" - Is there any network setting I can tamper to facilitate a quick DHCP renewal on the Aastra phones?
Hi Everyone,
I am running DD-WRT on a router that feeds about 30 Aastra 6753i. The phones
occasionally go into "No Service" mode. The POE switch doesn't seem to be
the problem as it's tested fine. I think the router sometimes gives up and
comes back quickly. Or something of that nature. However, the connections
are maintained if a call is going on because there are peer to peer
