understanding queues
Hello, I feel like I understand how the dial plan works pretty well with one exception. It seems like queues are using the stdexen macro to ring the agents/extensions. Is this normal? Is there anyway to configure this differently? I realize this is a newbie question, but I have searched google/archives and haven't been able to find the answer. Thanks, Elliot --------------

Queue Status
Hello all, I think Lee has given me a head start, but I'm still running in a circle (at least i'm in the lead). The problem is with my queues. The phones go to their own voicemail after 5 rings. That's about the same time I allow the phone to ring before trying another phone in the queue. Is there a way to tell asterisk....? If this call is coming from a queue, do not follow a

Disappearing DNS entry
CentOS 4.8, BIND 9.2.4, DHCP 3.0.1 Hi All: I have a rather perplexing problem where the DNS entry in BIND for one of my network printers sporadically "disappears" from our zone file (but not the reverse zone file). We have four Lexmark printers connected locally over our internal LAN using static IP addresses. We have 3 T640n printers and a T642n printer and it is only the T642n

strange locks
Hi, I added these lines to smb.conf: kernel op locks = false op locks = false strict locking = true so I could see some locks from the unix level. It worked sorta, I see the locks for big files (but not the locks I was expecting), but for little files it shows nothing: # ./lock_list /opt/testsambashare/mattest.doc # ./lock_list /opt/testsambashare/contents.doc 0 22086 W

Differences adding printers between Windows XP & Windows 7
Not sure what's going on here, but it's got to be a permissions thing it would seem. Background: working ADS. Samba 3.5.6 atop Freebsd 8.1 as domain member When I attempt to load drivers with Windows XP Pro (32bit), everything is fine. I can load either x32 drivers or x64 drivers. The same cannot be said for Windows 7. I cannot correctly load drivers with Windows 7, and here is a

I hope this is addressed by r177545 - please let me know if this test is still failing for you after that change. ACD Issues
Alright, folks. I just deployed * into full production at my office. We have around 50 7905's, 5 7940's, and a handful of soft clients. We run a call center with around 15 agents. I also have a queue set up for the receptionists so that they don't get bombarded with calls. Everything seems to be working with a very few minor glitches. I firmly believe that the few problems we are

Upgrade from 3.8.15 to 3.12.5
I believe the peer rejected issue is something we recently identified and has been fixed through https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1544637 and is available in 3.12.6. I'd request you to upgrade to the latest version in 3.12 series.
