Bugg when using Extended Attributes flag -X
Hello,
I found that using rsync on OS X can give some problems when it comes to Extended Attributes (-X flag).
The server I use has Ubuntu with the filesystem XFS and I am trying to backup a OS X system to it. The problem is as far as I understand it that Linux Kernel has a liming on 64k f?r Extended Attributes and OS X don?t have this limit.
Some error output.

sound quality IAX client GSM to ALAW with oh323
Hello veryone,
I have a strange problem. I have an asterisk (latest from CVS) with latest oh323 channel driver.
I place calls with DIAX.
The H323 gateways only support G711A
De DIAX only supports GSM
When I perform an inbound call:
H323 -> asterisk -> DIAX :: sound is ok.
When I perform an outbound call:
DIAX -> Asterisk -> h323 :: sound is terrible and CPU load is 80%

Asterisk + Orion E1 GSM Gateway
Hi,
I just got hold on an Orion E1 30 port GSM Gateway, and I am having problems trying to get the E1
link to come up. I am using Asteisk 1.2.12 with a Sangoma A101 card. I am quite familiar with
E1's, both the Digium and Samgoma types, as I have successfully hooked up to many PBX's and such,
but I just cant seem to get this one to work.
None of the 30 channels 'come up'.

call center running Asterisk - sound quality- critical!
You got to be kidding about 53 calls being recorded at sametime is an issue. I have done at least twice as many on my dual xeon 3.4Ghz system and had no problem as clients like to record every call that goes through the system. Then again, in my system, the in and out channels are mixed first before they are written to the disk.

loop function and integrate?
Hi guys!
I have to compute something and i don't know what i'm doing wrong. my code
is a bit complex, but imagine that is something like this:

ia = length(a)
x = seq(1,100,length=0.1)
ib = length(x)
int1 = numeric(ib)
b = numeric(ib)
for(j in 1:ia) {
H = function(x) {sin(x + a[j])}

Mabe OT? What managed switch is best for VoIP application?
My Trendnet 26 port managed switch gave up on me so I'm shopping for a
new switch. I learned the hard way NOT to trust marketing material from
anyone so now I'm asking the list: what am I looking for in a managed,
VoIP switch?
P.S: For those that don't understand WHY I can't trust marketing
material, let me tell you something about the Trendnet switch that's
fast becoming

Too slow computer?
Hello! I''ve put some questions on this list some weeks
ago and I''ve got good answers. Thank you!
Now I''ve finished my (beautyful) script and I ran it
on my router...
About my script:
It routes packages based on their destination on the
Internet. I have about 1650 preffered destination
networks listed in some file. The script read this

mISDN: No DID/extension information returns busy to caller
I'm running a setup with chan_misdn on a austrian PTP-line. When
somebody dials in without an extension, he gets a busy signal.
I don't see the call at all in asterisk.
I *have* set immediate=yes in misdn.conf. And I *do* have an s-extension
in my dialplan for the context used by misdn. Calls that provide an
extension work fine.
Attached is my misdn.conf and a verbose 3, misdn set debug

It would be cool if this feature could make it into the new release.
As you can see here it would be beneficial in my environment :-)

Is local originated traffic affected?
Hi!
I built some rules to shape traffic from my linux router in both
dirrections: to the Internet and to the LAN.
When i apply the rules my computer cannot acces the Internet or the LAN.
Is this behavior normal? Do I need to write some rules for local IPs of
my router? (I have sevaral, both on the internal and the external NICs.)
Thank you for any advice!
Sorin.

[LLVMdev] Eliminate PHI for non-copyable registers
In my hardware there are two special registers cannot be copied but can only
be assigned and referenced (read) in the other instruction. They are
allocatable also.

then:
%x1 = fptosi float %y1 to i32
br label %endif
else:
%x2 = fptosi float %y2 to i32

problems with a pri (E1)
Hi all,
Our asterisk PBX, randomly restarts all the channels of the E1 connection. It sends this message
"There is no D-Channel, using channel 16 anyway".Then the asteisk recive (or it thinks it
recives) yellow alarms at all the B-channels, after that it restart all the channels. When
restarting the B-channels it cut all the conversations that is handling at that moment. Does
