1.4.10.[0,1] crashes when call parked
100% repeatable (for me).
Sip phone A calls Sip phone B.
Either Sip phone A or B does #700. The party that keyed #700 gets the
parked announcement (eg 701) and the other party get MOH. There is
still an audio channel between the two SIP phones at this point.
When the party that typed #700 hangs up, Asterisk crashes.
This has been working in previous 1.4's (but not 1.4.10) and I

Asterisk (meetme) and SMP/HT OK?
In the past, there have been reports of problems with Asterisk with
multiple processors and/or HyperThreading.
I'm having a !@#$ of a problem with an HPDL380 with 2 3.4gHz Xeon
processors, 2 gb RAM -- if I got 24 hours I'd think I had died and gone to
heaven :)
Am I missing something obvious like "Asterisk is single CPU, single core?"

Hangups after voicemail
Hi,
Try as I might, I can't get hangups detected on a Zap channel with loop start
lines. So, after someone leaves a voicemail and then hangs up, Asterisk
doesn't know it, exits VoicemailMain2, and loops back to the corporate
greeting, tying up the line even though the outside caller has hung up.
Therefore, I've added the following hideous hack - er, code - to voicemail2.c.

Parking via ## still broken
Has anybody noted that under the latest release of Asterisk (1.2.15),
using the Features.conf for parking (I have ## setup) that it works fine
from SIP to SIP, but is sort of broken when trying it via IAX?
When parking via IAX with ##, you hear
'transfer'
Enter 700 for the parking extension
Hear 90
Then immediately hear the audio file from the (i)nvalid extension.
If you wait, it then

Parked calls with Asterisk 1.4.0
Hi List.
We have a small issue with making parked calls work with the new
Asterisk 1.4. I have an impression that this used to work with 1.2, so
its either I'm doing something wrong, or a regression. I hope its not
the latter and you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
The setup is an Asterisk with sip users in mysql realtime and dialplan
in mysql static (mostly - some stuff is built-in).

Parked calls and the # key
I am perplexed by this so I how someone can help me out.
On one of my servers the users began complaining that if they picked up a
parked call they could not use the # key to transfer the call. This is a
particualarly annoying issue since everyone has been taught to use #700 to
park calls. At first I thought it was a DTMF issue with the polycom phones,
since rebooting seemed to fix the problem.

Cannot xfer parked callers
Here's how it's currently working:
1) Call comes in
2) Operator parks call (700)
3) Operator picks up call on another phone (701)
4) Operator tries to transfer to a different phone (we use #0) but the
transfer doesn't work.
We can transfer initial callers all we want and it works fine. Once a
call is parked, however, we can no longer transfer the caller.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jay

Re-parking (or transfer) a parked call
How do you transfer or re-park a call that's been picked up from a parking
lot? I don't see any options for specifying the transfer options on the
parked call, so that you could transfer or repark it.

Number of parked calls in a parking lot
Is there a way to find out the no of parked calls in a parking lot by name (in a multiple parking lot environment) from within the dialplan (not CLI) other than writing a custom function (like VMCOUNT)?
Thanks,
Matt

Double DTMF digits sent on IAX native bridge
Hi,
I have two asterisk servers one is connected to the PSTN and the other
one is connected to SIP users. The two servers connect with each other
using IAX. When I have an incoming call from PSTN to the asterisk
servers and have a forward to go back out to the PSTN the two IAX
channel bridge together. Now every time I dial a DTMF digit, the
asterisk is sending two DTMF digits. I enable

Call Parking Difficulties
I can't seem to retrieve a parked call.
Here is what I do:
Call from phoneA to phoneB
Answer phoneB
Press Flash/Callwait on phoneB
Press 700 to park the call
A voice says that the call is parked at 701
When I try to dial 701, I don't get connected to the parked
call
Below is the asterisk output when I tried to park

Call Parking and Paid Digium software modifications
Hello,
I'm considering paying Digium to do a modification to Asterisk so that calls
can be parked on specific user-defined numbers(transfer to 701 and it's
parked on 701, transfer to 702 and it's parked on 702) instead of the way
Asterisk currently does call parking(transfer to 700 and then it tells you
where it put the call 701-720).
What would be the price range for this feature to

Polycom call parking feature and Asterisk call parking
Hi:
I want to make parking calls easier for my hard-working users. Is there
a way to make the Polycom call park feature work with Asterisk?
In case it just works out of the box, I haven't tried it yet; but the
"call park" feature isn't enabled on the Polycom phones by default.

res parking patch
Ok, a little patch that adds a little functionality to call parking.
With that, you can pickup the older parked call, if many are in the
parking lot. The default exten to do that is 750, but can be changed
by setting "parkpick => exten" on parking.conf , like
[general]
parkext => 800 ; What ext. to dial to park
parkpos => 801-820 ; What extensions to

parking in multiple contexts
Hi all,
If I have multiple extension contexts for different businesses sharing
an * pbx, and I include => parkedcalls in each of these separate
contexts, would someone at biz-1 be able to pick up a parked call that
someone in biz-2 parked? I _don't_ want this to happen -- I'd like to
be able to include a different "parkedcalls" context in each business'
context, and

multiple parking lot best practice
We are planning to have about 100+ parking lots defined in features.conf , each with about 4 unique park positions. Asterisk will be handling all the parking and unparking (we don't exclusively use Park/ParkedCall in the dialplan):
[parkinglot_a]
parkpos => 1-4
context=parked
[parkinglot_b]
parkpos => 5-8
context=parked
As far as I can tell, Asterisk adds/removes extensions to the
