Hi, I'd set the daylight saving option to yes on all the GXP-2000 phones, but apparantly it doesn't move it an hour back on last sunday of October. Can anyone here have experience using G.722 on the Grandstream GXP-1200? It's supposed to support the codec, but I wonder if the handset does it justice? All: I am using the standard voicemail in asterisk. Everything works well, except, if a users wants to record their own personal greeting, it doesn't playback. I can see the soundfile being created. I suspect it is a setting in the voicemail.conf, or an option I am over-looking on the grandstream, but if anyone can point me in the write direction, I would certainly appreciate the help.

On my Grandstream GXP 2010 I have the possibility for 6 channels and thus 6 different accounts... Line 1 I define an account that registers directly to an online Asterisk-server, somewhere in a datacentre. Line 2 I define an account that registers to the local Asterisk-server (NSLU2 unslung) When I activate both accounts, only the first account (to the Asterisk-server on the internet) registers.

Can anyone who has used both comment on the pros and cons ? Need to buy about 30 of these, for a small company with limited IT support. Guys. I just downloaded the recent firmware for GS GXP 2000 and I must say the phone works great but... How do you make the conf button work?????? Anybody done that? Also, with great dissapointment I must ask, where is ILBC support? GS web page mentions it and the manual says it supports it almost using bolds :) soooooo where is it???? Any light on this?

Hi, I have Grandstream GXP-2000 connected to Asterisk, and Asterisk has trunk to VSP for PSTN calls. When ever I place local PSTN call, the landline doesn't hang up right away (40 sec), when I hang up the GXP-2000. The GXP-2000 seems to have problems making international calls as well. Where it hangs up soon as the other party picks up. I have used different IP phones, VSP's and etc.
