PRI caller ID
Below is a snipped debug on our PRI. We are getting number only for the CallerID but the telco says they are sending us Name and Number. We are getting the Name in a second frame but Asterisk is not passing it to the device it rings. The message below says "Presenation allowed of network provided number" which leads me to believe Asterisk thinks it should not be displaying it. Can anyone

Callerid Name
Anyone know why zaptel would ignore a facility message from an ISDN PRI. I am trying to get Callerid name to work. The carrier says it on and I see it in the pri debug but asterisk never gets it. app_queue and Real roundrobin
Hey guys, i'm wondering if there is any good way to get app_queue working in real roundrobin strategy. The idea is to specify a call list of, lets say, 3 agants. Those agents should always be called in the correct defined order. So all calls have to get the following agent priority: 1st Agent -> 2nd Agent -> 3rd Agent I've actually solved that by defining penelty for the accounts,

No Caller ID Name PRI NI2
I there, I have some trouble to do working caller id name for outgoing calls on the PRI we just installed. Caller id name work on incoming calls only. Caller id number work on incoming and outgoing calls. The provider, Goup Telecom, said that's in what i'm sending. They said that I send the cid name in ascii code and to do it working, I need to send it in hex. So I take some traces

Not getting CID Name from PRI
Having a problem w/ not getting CID name from a PRI. CID Name appears in the PRI debug, but even after a Wait(4) it still appears after the phone is ringing. Here is the relevant info from my PRI debug output. Line 4 is a NoOp showing me trying to echo Name and Number. Line 6 dials the extension, and you can see callerid name get presented on line 29. Again, there is a Wait(4) before the

DMS-500 CID NAME Problem
Hi All, Sorry for the double post, but I'm in a real bind. I have several * servers connected to T1 PRI's from various service providers in multiple locations the US. All the * servers use the same hardware with the same OS and * version CVS-v1-0-11/09/04-12:27:27. When connected to 5ESS Switches, using the NI2 (national) PRI protocol, the CID name and number come across fine and

Bearer capabilities on PRI
Hey all, I am running a Asterisk 1.2.9.1 with Sangoma A101 card, newest firmware, configured with a help from Sangoma Tech Support, running fine. It is connected to a PRI circuit split from Cisco MC 3810, which in turn is connected to a Converged T from CTC Communications. While Asterisk works fine and I can call in/out on my BV account, I am only able to dial in through CTC. I have spent

Inbound DAHDI Error
Hello, I am trying to diagnose an intermittent error when a call comes in over our PRI lines. The problem appears random, however I have feeling it has something to do with the call volume, as the frequency increases with more calls on the system. I am not an expert when it comes to reading the PRI Span Debug statements but here is a call that had a problem and I bolded, italicized, and

systray apps invisible
I have a problem with applications residing in systray. The systray is always invisible, nowhere onscreen to be found. What the app starts I sometimes see a window showing itself and the immediately disappearing again. The applikation is running but I cannot access it. I have to start the app with desktop in order to gain access to the systray, but that surely cannot be the idea (as I do see

2BCT last mile... Hopefully
Ok, so I've made progress on 2BCT (2 B-Channel Transfer). I'm assuming that the debug info below shows that XO doesn't have 2BCT enabled on my line, but if anybody can confirm that'll let me be way more indignant. Definity Asterisk Caller ID Issue
You should run the 4ESS protocol ("a" on the Definity command "change DS1 board#) as the Definity may not send Display Name for the NI-2 protocol (settings "b" or "d") Remember to make the Asterisk zapata settings consistent with the Definity. On the Definity trunk group form Page 1, change "Codeset to send Display" to "0 (zero)", also make
